|Desc=We, the Staff of United Heroes MUSH, like to open up a fun new Elseworld each year.<br><br>This year, we have decided to offer Earth-5311, the Age of Piracy. This is entirely optional, but should you decide to play there, all was ask is that you label each log 'AoP - TITLE', so that it is clear that the log took place on Earth-5311's Age of Piracy environment. You're free to play on our brand new Pangu Island grid, which was donated by Gregory Stark, or in the Role-Play Suites.<br><br>When playing in this or any other Elseworld, we ask that you re-interpret your character, as best you can, for that environment. In this case, it is still the year 2025, but the world is backwards compared to our more familiar Earth-1999. It never developed past the Golden Age of Piracy, or between the 1650s and 1730s.<br><br>What would happen to a Kal-El who landed in this Earth? What kind of inventions could Tony Stark make using 17th and 18th century technology? How would Nightcrawler... okay, Nightcrawler wouldn't really be any different. But we hope you get the idea. You don't have to submit a new sheet or anything. This is just an extended sandbox, so to speak, to have fun with.
