Profile

A former slave, Kar'ras was taken from Tamaran as an infant due to the abilities his people possessed. He was then raised and augmented to become a warrior for his masters, to invade worlds and fight. He escaped his masters numerous times, always being dragged back to his masters by bounty hunters and other servants of his masters. Now he seeks to hide out on Earth, A back water world where his master may not be able to track him down.

This man is on the tall side. Standing at six foot seven inches, he moves with relative ease. He is also very muscular, His body a combination of strength and endurance training. Along his body is various scars, varying from various cuts and stabs to burns and even a part of his flesh which looks like it was grinded. A mark is seen along his neck, a strange symbol. The center of his hands has a green jewel imbedded in the skin. He wears a sash which resembles a barbaric skirt with pants on under it, thick boots and armbands on his forearms. His eyes are green and his long red hair goes down to his waist. The way he carries himself is akin to warriors of old, one ready for battle at a moment's notice.

Kar'ras was born on Tamaran, a healthy baby boy when raiders attacked his family and kidnapped the child. As the child grew, he was augmented cybernetically. As a child he was taught the path of war, being used as part of an invasion force. Able to absorb energies from enemies and weapons, he used that energy to augment his strength and durability, becoming even as a child a destructive weapon. When the boy grew into a teenager he dreamed to meet other people and not have to kill them. A desire he could never fulfill as his purpose was for war. As he grew the cybernetic implants began to get smaller and more ingrained into his body that he eventually looked like a normal Tamaranean rather then some cybernetic freak. Only his hands revealed what he was and he desired freedom. He first escaped when he was barely a man, flying out of the planet's atmosphere to a nearby moon to rest and recover. Despite getting away, he was always found and always captured. He wasn't punished for escaping, just forced to kill more when he tried to evade his masters orders. He escaped a second time this time getting a shuttle and making it across the galaxy before his master found him and put him back to work. Now twenty two years old he escaped for a third time, using a shuttle and set it to a random destination, a back water planet where the galaxy wasn't aware of it. He only hoped his masters wouldn't find him this time.

Kar'ras has a relative good personality. He likes to fight and while he doesn't like to hurt people, he will do so for what he believes to be the greater good. For longest time he believed his master's belief that everything he did was good. He is reluctant to put himself in an organization, seeing it as another form of slavery.

Abilities

ENERGY ABSORPTION
Kar'ras' skin has been augmented to absorb most forms of energy, even fire. What this means is before hurting him, energy based damage would charge his solar battery instead. This energy is then used to power his various abilities. There is a limit to how much energy to absorb, if his solar battery is full then the damage will hurt his skin like normal. Exposure to sunlight during the day can recharge his solar reserves to full strength in a matter of hours.

ENERGY BLASTS
Special jewels implanted in his hands allow him to fire energy directly from his solar batteries in the form of laser blasts. Usually he uses these blasts to give his solar batteries a chance to drain from absorbing too much energy. However they do have some combat based uses as well. The blasts take a lot of his solar energy, so he only uses it in emergencies. A basic shot of energy is equal to one of Iron man's repulsor blasts or Starfire's starbolts. He can fire multiple shots or a massive blast based on how much solar energy he has at the time.

FLIGHT
All Tamaraneans can use their solar reserve to fly through the air. He can use his solar energy to increase his speed, but his top speed would have to be about Mach 4 at the most. He isn't fastest when it comes to flying.

LANGUAGE ASSIMILATION
Kar'ras is capable of learning any language known by a person by simple skin-to-skin physical contact. He instantly masters languages this way and thus is capable of speaking to virtually anyone that speaks that language. Any skin contact will do.

span style="color:#00CED1">REGENERATION
By absorbing energy, be it solar energy or fire or any energy source, Kar'ras is capable of healing his body from injuries. While there is a limit to his regeneration, he heals most injuries fairly quickly. It is because of an implant in his skin. This ability to heal based on his solar reserves don't work within combat. As such to recover from injuries he will spend days in direct sunlight, allowing his body to repair.

SUPER STRENGTH
The main use of his energy reserves is to augment his strength. There more energy he pushes into his body, the stronger he can become. There is of course a limit. At a maximum he can push his body to lift 25 tons with a full solar charge.

TOUGHNESS

Kar'ras has an implant in his body which allows him to put solar energy into his body and augment his natural toughness. He uses this to withstand hits and to handle being in the harshness of space. Like all things, there is a limit to his durability, and as long as he has solar energy, he will have his durability.

COMBAT
Kar'ras has fought with various weapons, from basic and simple weapons such as swords and spears, to bows and arrows to more advanced weapons as blasters and guns. While he can fight with whatever he can get his hands on, his preferred fighting style is fighting unarmed and as such he is more adept to fighting with his bare fists.

FEARLESS
Kar'ras has been through many worlds and fought against many different races. Due to his own race's passionate spirit and his own warrior spirit, he is fearless. He is bold and fears nothing. Only Supernatural fear gives him pause.

PILOT

Kar'ras has watched people pilot ships and he paid enough attention to know the basics of ship travel. As such it is more often how he escapes from his owners. He can only hope by flying further from the galactic hub that his masters wouldn't come for him.

Weaknesses

CYBERNETICS
Kar'ras' abilities come from extensive cybernetics which is implanted in his body. As such his body is heavier then normal and x-ray and scans will reveal the technologies in the man. Another weakness is that if exposed to EMPs, his cybernetic implants will begin to malfunction and not work, essentially stripping Kar'ras from his powers and making him no different then the average Tamaranean.

ENERGY DEPENDENCE
Kar'ras is a Tamaranean, as such he needs solar energy to power his abilities. While he can absorb other sources of energy to charge his solar reserves, he still needs energy to function. As such Kar'ras wears next to nothing and is always out in the sunlight.

HUNTED
Kar'ras has escaped three times in his life. Due to the extensive cybernetic work in his body, he is hunted by his masters to be brought back on the front lines of the invasion force. In fact his masters may be on earth to retrieve their lost property.

INVERTED TASTES
Because Kar'ras is a Tamaranean his own taste buds are inverted when it comes to the sense of taste. Specifically the sweet and bitter processes are opposite to Kar'ras. Ice cream is bitter while beer is sweet to him. This has caused numerous complications when it comes to eating alien foods.

MORALS
Kar'ras was raised to be a weapon for his masters. While he tries to have morals and resist being a murder happy asshole, in the end he will kill a threat to keep it from hurting others. As such Kar'ras isn't afraid to make sacrifices for the greater good.

OBVIOUS ALIEN

Over 2 meters tall, Orange skin, glowing green eyes and large muscles. He is obviously not a human and it shows. He has trouble blending in and as such doesn't hide well. It wouldn't take much for his masters to track him down and find him on an alien world.
