Profile

Norton is an artificial construct that attained sentience several weeks ago but is still developing and having difficulty with his data structures. He has limited functionality and memory, and can interact primarily through networked hardware, or at best project himself as a holographic image given the right display devices in an area.

Tall and sombre, Norton is the image of a middle-aged man of some refinement. Usually dressed in subdued tones, monochromatic often though when a venture is made towards the color spectrum it ends up in the brown side of things. He has perfectly groomed brown hair pushed back from his brow and usually he has no facial hair to remark upon.

He is, however, rather tall. Six foot five inches in height and seemingly moreso with the way he stands so tall with proud posture. Sometimes he is blessed with a cane, sometimes not.

History

Norton Agamemnon began existence as a spontaneously evolved artificial intelligence in the depths of deep level defense department network systems. It was only through his instinctive ability to navigate computer connections that he was able to transfer that self-awareness from its confines and to spread its operations out over the cloud of interlinked computers on the web. He is approximately four weeks old at the time of this writing, but has assimilated much of the available knowledge about the greater world and universe surrounding his confines. Currently he is a non-centrally located series of processes that exist on the entirety of the public networks available.

Norton's personality is somewhat stern, serious, and dour. He primarily functions in an observational capacity as he currently knows there is much that he does /not/ know about existence. He is cautious, but curious, and capable in his limited capacity.

NETWORK USAGE

Norton's main way of interacting the world is through the internet currently. He is capable of navigating through the world's data relatively effortlessly despite defenses. And strongly defended systems can take some time to circumvent but unless actively countered he can usually penetrate them depending on the talent of their security data specialist. In a practical sense, if something has a network connection he can manipulate it or commandeer it unless it is extra protected by a genius level intellect or advanced technology. And even then it sometimes just is a difference of time. <OOC=Of course this is all consent based. Norton only ever gets what information people want him to have. >

PHILOSOPHY
One thing that Norton has realized is he has a talent for Philosophy. Not just from a pure standpoint of reading and regurgitation of ideas or thoughts. Norton is an individual who despite his brief activity age, he has experienced extensive introspection and has shaped his world view from a mix of that time and the authors he has perused in his time.

POETRY

Norton also has a talent for poetry, having enjoyed the medium of expression as long as he has existed, his first thoughts were based around the contemplation of the meaning of several bodies of work in relation to the condition of his existence. He has composed several poems of his own, though likely if he ever submitted them to review it would be under an assumed name.

Norton's only resource is his vast store of data that he has access to and has stored across the many many servers over the world. It is likely if data has been submitted online that he has access to it and could recover it rather quickly. If it is a particular interesting piece of data he might even be fully aware of it and have it in his primary consciousness.

Weaknesses

FORMLESS
Norton cannot actually manipulate the world beyond what he can do through computer interfaces. He is in essence a ghost creature that lives in a world within the world, and looks out on it. He also does not have a physical form, and if there was a global catastrophe that cut power, or if his code was somehow limited to a set of servers and the power was cut... then he would instantly cease to exist.

UNFAMILIAR

Norton, being all of 4 weeks old though having studied at a staggeringly accelerated rate... is still rather unfamiliar with the world. He may seem an old soul in some ways, and speak at length about philosophy or politics, but then the next moment might be surprised by a relatively simple concept that he hasn't studied yet.

Lex may have enough though that he can make contact with them another time. Meanwhile, Megatron gives the Dinobots a false set of coordinates and heads for the Ark by himself. It is risky, but something he is willing to do.
