Profile

Harvey Dent was, perhaps, Gotham's finest District Attorney. Because of his good looks and the one-on-many war against crime and corruption, he was nicknamed Apollo. Dent made his mark in several landmark cases that put Gotham's worst offenders behind bars for a long, long time. That all came crashing down when a vial of acid was thrown into his face during a trial. Permanently scarred and horribly disfigured, Harvey Dent lost more than just his impeccable looks that day. His mind shattered and split itself right down the middle. Harvey soon found that the only way to live, is to live by chance. He took a knife to the back side of his lucky coin, scarred it in the same way his own face had been, and decided it was time to live by a whole new set of rules. It was time to become something else altogether: Two-Face.

Description:

To look this figure in profile and make a value assessment on who he was, would be a grave error, which becomes apparent the moment the whole of his appearance is taken into consideration. In fact, were it not for his outfit and obvious deformities, this man could likely be described as 'too handsome for his own good.'

From the bottom up, his feet are encased in two immaculate shoes that would be otherwise identical, if the right were black like its neighbor instead of polished bone white. Leading up to that are a pair of mismatched, but equally expensive looking socks... the right is a quite simple black, while the other is a dingy grey. The rest of the ensemble follows this pattern. His dress pants and suit coat are a pleasant cream on the right and jade black on the left. His undershirt, a rather nice button up with alternating onyx and alexandrite buttons going up the center, is midnight purple on the right side, bone white on the left. An onyx cufflink adorns the right side, and alexandrite on the left. His tie is expensive looking silk... running a cream to match his suit on the right, and jade black on the left.

The man's face is the obvious source of his current fashion decisions. While the right side once belonged to a decently handsome, obviously well bred man, the left is that of evil incarnate... the flesh of the left side seems purplish-pink, raw, and almost melted -- a bizarre burn victim that never tried to correct the damage to his skin. The left side of his mouth is pulled into a constant rectos grin. Both eyes are crystal blue, although the left, with the lids pulled away to the point of nearly being useless in blinking, is almost always fully dilated; its movements just slightly slower than its twin. Both, however, show a soft sort of mad energy... and a devilish intelligence. His hair is equally split in twain, the right side a raven's black, slicked back in a lackadaisical style, while the left side is a mass of unkempt, fried, grey curls.

History:
Gotham City. For years the place has been corrupt, unjust, and a terrible place for one to grow up. However, to some people, there were places worse than Gotham City to grow up. One such person was young Harvey Dent. The son of an abusive father with a trophy wife, Harvey's worst nightmare was his own bedroom. He was always a good child, doing everything he could to stay on his father's good side. Everything was not enough, as it didn't stop his father from taking out the day's frustrations on the boy. In fact, there was only one thing that could stop such things from happening... a silver dollar.

The rule was simple. If Harvey's father flipped the coin and it landed on heads, then Harvey would get beaten. However, if his father flipped the coin and it landed on tails, then Harvey would be spared. The coin never landed on tails. The beatings came on almost a daily basis, yet Harvey never told a soul. He feared his father too much to try and turn him in. More than that, he feared what might become of his mother, should he attempt to stand up to his father in such a manner. So Harvey did the only thing he could think of to do and that was deal with it.

As Harvey got older, the beatings lessened and soon ceased more so because of his father's failing health than the fact that Harvey was getting too big, physically, to beat up on. Perhaps it was wrong, but Harvey felt good about his father's condition and even began to wish the man's health into a worst state. This wasn't like Harvey, though. This was cruel, dark, and much more suited to someone of his father's caliber than him. Harvey had always sought out the good in people, not the bad. So to be thinking bad thoughts and wishing death onto the man that gave him life? This was something new. Something that showed poor Harvey had been broken. Something was wrong with him, but it was hidden. Crawling. Beneath his skin.

Harvey got his wish.

It was the summer after he graduated from high school. His father had grown severely ill to the point of being death bed-ridden and made a single request for Harvey to come see him. Against his better judgment Harvey did so. The conversation wasn't loving as much as it was a final goodbye. His father didn't apologize for the way he treated Harvey nor did he explain his reasons for doing so. Instead, he merely presented him with a special gift in the form of a coin. The same exact coin that he flipped to decide Harvey's fate as a child. Harvey's focus became the coin even as his father died in front of him. Harvey merely stared at the coin, flipping it over and over, growing more and more furious at what he saw.

It was a two headed coin.

Harvey's life changed after his father's death. The coin became his good luck charm and it seemed to be working. Having already scored a full scholarship to Princeton University, Harvey bid his mother farewell and set off for the campus. That was the last he ever saw of his mother alive. He refused to go to his father's funeral as orientation for classes was that day and he needed to embark on his new life. He turned a cold shoulder to anything related to that man choosing instead to focus on his life and school. His major? Something that he never received as a child: Justice.

Harvey was brilliant, to say the least, and thus school was a breeze. He majored in law, graduated in three years, moved onto law school and graduated from there in another two. Without a second thought and through a connection by one of his professors, Harvey landed a job in the District Attorney's office. It was nothing major, as he was barely 25, but it was still a good job. He started off as a gopher but within three years he was the D.A.'s personal assistant. Another two years and he became Gotham City's next District Attorney.

Success never went to Harvey's head. He never forgot that he came from the slums of Gotham City. He never forgot that the reason he even wanted such a position in the first place was so that he could do battle against the crime that controlled the cit

History2:

He was also a dead man. A very dead man, if the families had their wish. They grew tired of Harvey's antics and ethical bullshit every time they tried to buy him. The last straw came when Harvey started to work day and night on the Gotham Families. He smashed through Gotham's underworld empires and once again restored a sliver of hope to the citizens of the dark city. That's when Harvey decided to push his luck and went after one of the biggest crime bosses in the city...

This was a man that could murder the mayor in front of the whole city and walk away without so much as a slap on the wrist. This was something that infuriated Harvey to no end and thus why he was the next target. If he could bring him and his family down then he could bring anyone down. Harvey began by going through the family, busting and getting every person he could that was associated with his primary target. The retaliation was explosive as he blew up Harvey's home and hospitalized his wife. This did nothing but make Harvey want to get him more. So he upped his game, pressed his luck, and managed to get one of the don's men to trial.

All Dent needed was a confession stating who he worked directly under and then he could go after the smug bastard. Unfortunately, this guy was more loyal than snitch and he was ready and willing to serve some time. So, during Harvey's questionining, the criminal scum viciously attacked Harvey with a palmed vial of acid. It happened so quickly there wasn't anything anyone could do. Harvey was immediately rushed to the hospital and into surgery but the doctors were unable to save the left side of his face. It was horribly scarred and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

This was the defining incident in Harvey's life as the attack, combined with the horrific realization of his disfigurement unleashed the monster that had been living beneath the handsome features of Harvey Dent all these years. The monster that was created by his abusive father and his mental mind games. With this monster unleashed Harvey no longer possessed the restraint or controlled mental capacity to curb his violent tendencies. In fact, he murdered the doctor that worked on him, blaming him for not saving his godly looks and fled to an abandoned warehouse at the edge of Gotham. It was here that he took some time to think and realized what he had done.

He could feel his other side fighting against his new side trying to regain control but it couldn't. There was a moment of remorse, regret, sorrow, for the doctor that no longer had his life, but it didn't last. Instead, the ferocious anger proved to be the dominant emotion and the switch that turned Harvey Dent into... something else had been flipped. He felt different. He felt like there was a constant war going on inside of his head. Like there was no longer just Harvey Dent. There was something, someone else. Someone that was now speaking to him loud and clear. Someone that had always been there but wasn't verbal until now.

"W-wh-who are you?"

"You know who I am, Harvey."

"What d-d-do you want?"

"I want to help you, Harvey."

"Help me? Help me with what?"

"Revenge."

"I don't need hel--"

"LOOK! Look at our face! Look at what he did to us!!"

"... us?"

"Yes. Us."

"Who are yo-- we?"

"Call us... Two-Face."

Two-Face. Harvey's mind had been split right down the middle along with his face. Half of him was good, kind and still wanted to live his life as before. The other side was cold, dark and evil. Both sides were equally important and equally strong yet neither could persuade the other to give up total control. Unable to make decisions because of this constant arguing with himself Two-Face decided to put his lucky charm to use. With a knife, he scarred one side of his two headed coin to represent his dark side while leaving the other side clean and unmarred. This coin became the final solution to all of Two-Face's moral and important dilemmas. The first flip was to decide the course of Harvey's life.

Personality

Personality:
Harvey - The Man: Before there was Two-Face, there was Harvey Dent. Harvey's a man of compassion, kindness, and the strongest sense of justice that anyone could possibly have. All in all, he's an honest and true good guy. Something very rare in this day and age. He is calm and collected, rather ready to let his actions speak for him, than to go on with an over the top monologue of some sort, to explain his position. Harvey Dent is honest and pure, in a way that's been long since forgotten as the days have passed. Harvey is the Good Side of the Coin.

Harvey - Friend: A friend to all that he surveys, Harvey's always the kind of guy willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Whether it's just listening, offering advice, or sparing a couple bucks, Harvey's just an all around nice guy. He's got the type of attitude that could take him far in the world, or even get him taken advantage of, but he doesn't let the few bad apples spoil the bunch. He would much rather continue to be the good-natured fellow that he is, rather than be manipulated by a few misunderstood miscreants. Very helpful and overly generous, Harvey's the prime candidate for Friend of the Year.

Harvey - Trustworthy & Loyal: Once you become a friend of Harvey Dent, you might as well consider him to be your closest confidant. Secrets are kept, as he's a firm believer in the realm of confidentiality and trust, knowing that if something was meant to be told, it wouldn't have been prefaced as a secret. He's also as loyal as the family dog, becoming quite protective or even viciously defensive of his friends and those he holds close to his heart. He's willing to go the extra mile for certain people and will stand up to the world's mightiest foes for them, without a second thought.

Harvey - Advocate of Justice: Harvey's always had a very strong sense of justice and has been known to do the right thing, on numerous occasions, whether or not it was in his best interest to do so. He fully believes in the world's judicial system and works hard to let that shine through in his daily life. He believes that as long as there are people like him, who will fight the good fight no matter the odds, that justice will always prevail. And he doesn't keep this a secret, no. His views on this subject can be considered widely known, as he's quick to verbalize them whenever the need arises.

Harvey - Merciful: Forgiveness is the greatest revenge and Harvey's a man of forgiveness. While every person has their limits, Harvey's seem to be more malleable than most people's. He tends to want to believe that there's good in everyone or that everyone can change, so he's willing to give people multiple chances. Likewise, should his encounters or confrontations with others fall into a realm that's unpleasant, he's more likely to show verbal mercy and let things slide, than to continue on and making matters worse.

Harvey - Two-Face: Harvey doesn't like Two-Face, which should be obvious. He accepts that the man is a part of him, but he doesn't have to like it. He's somewhat submissive to Two-Face in the manner that Two-Face can be so overwhelming at times, that it's hard to stand up to him. While Harvey has his moments, it's fairly clear that Two-Face is the dominant personality, nine times out of ten. However, it's Harvey that keeps the insanity in check, by keeping the coin usage fresh in their mind. Deeper down, Harvey resents everything Two-Face makes him do and would kill him in a heartbeat, if it didn't mean killing himself. At the same time, he knows that he needs Two-Face to survive. It's a very complicated, this issue.

Personality2:

Two-Face - The Demon: Deep within the recesses of Harvey's mind, ever since he was a child, was a demon. A demon that had been trapped behind a psychic or subconscious wall, keeping him at bay. However, once the wall was broken by a vile act, this demon emerged and with him came everything that Harvey Dent wasn't. This demon is cold, ruthless, and thrives on the darkness. It is that pure evil that everyone has inside them, magnified by a great number. It calls itself Two-Face and has successfully taken over half of Harvey's mind, thus giving itself the perfect position to vie for control of the body it inhabits. Two-Face is the Bad Side of the Coin.

Two-Face - Enemy: He might as well be Public Enemy #1 with the way he treats people. Rude, thoughtless and spiteful to a fault, Two-Face doesn't seem to give a damn about anything but himself. He's cold to the point of being uncaring and even goes out of his way to be extremely rude and confrontational to anyone that dares to get too close. He uses his disfigured presence as an excuse to be a jerk, feeling that if he's going to look like a monster, he might as well act like a monster. Two-Face is the ultimate antagonist, happily going against whatever grain may be presented.

Two-Face - Double Crossing Bastard: The best way to deal with Two-Face is to not trust him. He's a sneaky, conniving, con man that's main purpose in life is to screw others over and make himself a better person... financially speaking of course. His primary functions are to lie, cheat and steal his way into a position of power so that he can do whatever it is that he wants to do. He cares nothing for the people he hurts, being this way, whether it be physically or emotionally. He's always quick to say one thing and do another, then claim to have "changed his mind" as means of justification for his acts.

Two-Face - Executioner: Much like Harvey, Two-Face also has a strong sense of justice, though his comes with a temper that just won't quit. He believes that justice (his own twisted version of it, anyway) should be served... by him. If someone has done something wrong in his eyes, then it is his full duty and right to sentence and execute them right there on the spot. This doesn't always resort in killing, but it does result in him doing whatever he deems necessary as the proper punishment for such vile acts as jaywalking or assault with deadly staring!

Two Face - Ruthless: Don't expect mercy or anything of that nature when dealing with Two Face. He cares about one thing and one thing only and that's whatever he wants at the time. He's cold blooded, unforgiving, and harsh with his actions and words, when he gets into one of these moods. His reactions can range from hysterical outbursts, to murder, to any other number of things, but the fact remains that he will not pull punches in the least. He lets it all hang out, if you'll pardon the terminology.

Two Face - Harvey: Two-Face's view of Harvey is that he's a liability, a weak fool and way too damn nice. Two-Face considers everything he does to be a crude form of tough love for the weakling of the pair. He's trying to give Harvey the balls to do what needs to be done in this city. The funny thing about Two-Face is that he believes that everything he's doing is justified and right... which it is, in his own eyes. He's very much the diabolical fiend in the relationship with Harvey whom he sometimes deems as his little brother, and would do everything in his power to protect him. However, he refuses to show any kindness or love towards Harvey for fear of weakening him or showing weakness himself. Thus, he treats Harvey like crap.

Skills

Ambidextrous:
Although this is mostly self-explanatory, Two-Face is capable of using both hands to do his bidding. His right hand is as good as his left is and there's no room for argument. In fact, if he -wasn't- ambidextrous, then that would be too painfully ironic for words. Just deal with him using two hands for everything, alright?

Criminal Minds:
Even before the birth of Two-Face, Harvey was capable of putting himself into the mindset of the different criminals that he put away. He's known for being able to put himself in the shoes of those that he questions or interrogates to assist him with being a capable and vastly successful attorney. Since his descent into the dark corners of the city, Two-Face has emerged as an individual with two minds about everything and that makes him an effective criminal and anti-criminal.

Demolitions:
Two-Face is an expert in demolitions, holding a particular talent for setting and disarming explosives. Everything from small incendiary devices to large scale bombs are well within his wheelhouse. Where Harvey learned this is up in the air as it is likely something that Two-Face learned along his own path. Either way, Two-Face will often use this skill set to set traps or create distractions for his plans and schemes. Or, if the coin says so, this knowledge can be used to help dismantle or disarm them.

Driving:
Two-Face has the skill of a stunt car driver when it comes to being behind the wheel. He's able to ride or drive anything that belongs on the street and can handle both Standard and Automatic vehicles. On a more criminal note, Two-Face is capable of doing many of these things one handed, while hanging out of the window, shooting a gun. Nobody knows where this skill came from, as Harvey never showed any extensive skills in vehicular homicide prior to the arrival of Two-Face. But the fact of the matter is that high speed chases are like pieces of cake to Two-Face.

Firearms:
When it comes to shooting to kill, when Two-Face has his pistols out, he's a force to be reckoned with. He's a bona fide marksman when it comes to these things, capable of hitting his intended target more often than not and nine times out of ten. While he doesn't possess any superhuman traits, it's just the fact that he's trained himself in this area, as to keep himself alive. Guns are Two-Face's best friend, so to speak. So look out when he's got you in his sights.

Interrogation:
The art of interrogation is something that Harvey could've written a book on had he not been too busy interrogating people. As an attorney, it was his job to ask the right questions, at the right times, to get the wrong answers for the right client. There's no way of getting around the fact that it takes some true people and deductive skills to be able to use words and questions to reach a desired result. This is something that Two-Face can do, thanks to Harvey's initial talent in the area and it makes Q&A sessions all the more fun.

Investigation:
Sometimes, in order to see that justice is served, one has to go beyond the call of duty and into the realm of police work. That's something that Harvey does well. He doesn't just defend or prosecute people... he becomes them. Therefore, he's got some pretty nice skills when it comes to investigating and deducing things. Somewhat of a detective, in his own special way, Harvey's got some decent skills in uncovering hidden truths and finding things. Of course, this is all based on the leads he gets. Without them, these skills of his are pretty much worthless.

Law:
Being a district attorney for quite some time as well as having studied law academically, Harvey has an expert knowledge in the area of the Law. This covers almost everything that's ever been written on this subject, as he's constantly studying and brushing up on his knowledge. The fact of the matter is that he might as well be a walking bar exam with the way he can just spout of general facts and even educated opinions about any specific genre involved in the topic of law. This expands even to specific bylaws of Gotham, courtroom procedure and etiquette and even the ability to cut through )or create) red tape and litigation issues. With the arrival of Two-Face, he has also allowed his mind to expand its knowledge into the loopholes and dirty tricks of the law knowledge game to be able to commit his crimes with plausible deniability capability built in.

Leadership:
Every criminal empire needs a leader and Two-Face just happens to fit the bill in this regard. A man of many verbal talents, with a presence that just exudes confidence and victory, there's really no point in denying the fact that he would be a great leader. Combined with his political background and his penchant for being able to speak the words of the gods in such a way that leaves most people hanging on his words, Two-Face is capable of leading the smallest groups to the largest of armies. He's got the potential to be a great man in this regard, so long as he can stay sane long enough to do so.

Negotiation:
An attorney by profession, Harvey's always had it a little easier when it comes to making negotiations and deals. With everything that seems to go on in the judicial system, there's more wheeling and dealing for settlements, than anything else. So naturally, Harvey's going to have some raw skill in this area. Capable of making sure that he ends up with the sweeter end of the deal is always the priority, now that Two-Face is in the mix. He's a slick talking wordsmith that uses that silver tongue of his to make sure that he and his own are covered, while keeping the deal looking 'prime' for the person on the other side of the proverbial table.

Politics:
Harvey's a former district attorney, thus why his knowledge of politics knows no bounds. He's got the kind of expertise that comes from working directly with politicians on a daily basis and he knows all about their sneaky, conniving ways. He's also got quite the diverse schooling and academic background in political science and related areas. There's enough knowledge for Two-Face to even try to run for political office, should he ever want to do that. But really... what would he run for? Mayor?

Presence:
Intimidation is all about presence and Harvey Dent had a lot of it. This man was able to merely walk into a room, ask a few calm questions and walk out with a signed confession. He wasn't just good, he was one of the best. This was only made even more powerful by his transformation into Two-Face. With the left side of his face being so hideously deformed and scarred, it's only natural that his ability to intimidate people has increased greatly. While he's prone to violent and psychotic outbursts, he's still got that innate charismatic attitude that allows him to merely shut down every one of a target's defenses, without so much as a second thought.

Research:
As a law student, Harvey spent most of his days in the library, trying to make sure that he knew everything he could about particular subjects and what not. This, of course, turned into something more of a research skill, as anything he needed to get an A was rarely on the surface. His skills are uncanny, as they range from simple internet searches to cross referencing and even following the smallest of leads to gain a desired result.

Social Etiquette:
One doesn't grow up to be the most beloved District Attorney in Gotham City without knowing how to work a crowd. No matter where he is, whether it be the upper class or down in the slums, Two-Face has the ability to mesh himself into that social circle. He doesn't talk down to those in the slums and he knows just what to say to get the 'approval' of those with their noses stuck in the air. He's a social chameleon and that's what makes it possible for him to be liked. Even though he's an evil criminal mastermind type person.

Surveillance:
Almost to the point of being a private investigator, Harvey's got surveillance skills of a high nature. He knows how to shadow and tail people, likely without getting noticed himself. He's good at photography and keeping his eye on people, without being too obvious. The whole thing about surveillance is that in doing it, he has to remain unnoticed himself. This is something he's managed to learn how to do over the years and now it's very hard to pinpoint Two-Face doing any of these things... because he's become so good at it. And now, with the long arm of Two-Face surrounding the city... it's even more difficult.

Thievery:
Two-Face has a solid foundation and background knowledge in various criminal elements related to being a thief. Everything from picking pockets and locks to cracking safes or even the pursuit of burglary and breaking and entering. Two-Face's knowledge in these areas is passable to above average in scope and allows him to be an effective criminal.

Unarmed Combat:

Some people are from the streets. Some people are highly trained ninja assassin warriors with weapons of cold steel. Two-Face is neither. The fact of the matter is that the extent of Two-Face's fighting ability is him packing a pretty mean punch. He's a brawler, which means he just gets down and dirty when he's fighting. Punching, kicking, biting, headbutts... whatever he has to do to ensure that he's the one that remains standing is what he'll do in order to survive. There's no other strategy or tactical advantage that he has to use. In fact, the only thing that's on his mind while brawling is: Win.

2 of Everything:
Shopping is a great thing, especially when you have the money to buy whatever you want... twice. Because of his obsession with duality, Two-Face is always shopping for two. No matter what it is, if he can't buy two, then he won't buy it. He's got two homes, two cars, two this and two that. This is very handy when it comes to weapons and things like that, as it's very likely that Two-Face has four guns on him at a time. Two for Harvey and two for Two-Face, of course. Life ruled by the number two, definitely has its advantages.

Coin:
Inherited from his abusive father, Two-Face's coin is the end all and be all of his mental stability. As the story goes, his father used to mentally torture Harvey by using the coin as the decider on if Harvey would get beaten or not. Heads? Beating. Tails? Safe. Granted, after his father died and the coin passed to Harvey's hands, he became aware that it was two-headed. Now, though, Harvey follows in his father's footsteps... but in a more extreme manner, having a Clean Side and Scarred Side of the coin.

Empire:
Two-Face has proclaimed himself to be the Kingpin of Gotham. Whether this fact is true or not is a matter of opinion. However, it is worth noting that Two-Face has established himself a substantial criminal empire from which to rule the streets of Gotham. His empire is one that is designed to double exponentially while also leaving room for error and moral obligations. His empire is mostly located within the city limits of Gotham. It is rumored that those that are associated with Two-Face's criminal empire can be identified through various explorations and expressions of duality.

Fast Reaction Time:
Two heads are always better than one, which is why the combined senses of Two-Face and Harvey allow him to always be somewhat ahead of the game. Two-Face has a very keen eye and even keener senses when it comes to trouble. Thus why he's capable of reacting to things in a much faster way than most people would. This is why it seems that he can dodge bullets or something, as he's always ready to be on the move when something happens that's not according to his plan. He's capable of thinking and acting at the same time, which is more than others can say.

Firearms:
Being a lover of guns, Two-Face has access to them without too much trouble. Being an arms dealer, he gets his hands on all the latest and greatest guns before the general public gets a chance to see them. However, his loyalties lie in the realm of classics, such as Tommy Guns and Revolvers. He's been known to turn down deals because an agreement on acquiring classic guns, also, couldn't be reached. The fact, though, still remains that if Two-Face wants a gun, Two-Face can get a gun.

Gcpd Knowledge:
Two-Face also keeps a very close eye and watch on the Gotham Law Enforcement agencies. While he already has his hands in the pockets of many, there are still quite a large number that feel they may be able to stop Two-Face's plans to take over the city. He's watched them, studied them, and he knows how they work... how long it takes for back up to arrive... stuff like that. Little tips and tricks that help him when it comes to tactical awareness and things like that. Two-Face will always be two steps ahead of the police, because he takes the time to be.

Influence:
While he's not the most powerful person in the city, Two-Face has still proclaimed himself the Kingpin of Gotham. He has based on the fact that he knows a lot of people in both high and low places. He can call in favors, he can move and shake, all with a phone call or two. Harvey's previous occupation has given him a plethora of names, locations, rumors and whatever else he needs to be capable of functioning as an influential member of criminal society.

Not All Bad:
As much as Two-Face is a gangster and a criminal he was Harvey Dent first. There's always a notion of the man that was before that still exists beneath all of the violence and bravado that Two-Face carries. He is an individual with layers that are often forgotten due to his criminality and disfigured appearance. Regardless, though, there are certain individuals that are capable of reasoning with him at times. There's a caveat. You must Believe In Harvey Dent.

Second Chances:
Two-Face deals in duality in all things. Even during the process of his plans and schemes. There's always a second part to them. There's always another escape route. There's always the possibility of a double-cross. There's always a secondary gun, a secondary gar, a secondary option for each element of his plans. There's never ever just one plan, even!

In addition to his criminal schemes and plots, Two-Face often gets released from prison or Arkham on a technicality or a clean bill of mental health. He often gets a second chance to fit into society.

Secondary Knowledge:
With Harvey Dent and Two-Face being two separate minds there are things that each mind knows that the other doesn't. Since Harvey has been unable to fully embrace Two-Face, and vice versa, there are secrets that they keep from each other as well as knowledge that one mind may know while the other is oblivious. This can be a secondary skill (like playing poker or riding a bike) or some knowledge (like the commissioner's home address or gangster trivia) that can only be recalled by the right mind.

Sugar & Spice:
Sugar: Two-Face's "Good Girl", this blonde bombshell is everything that Two-Face could ever want in one of his women. She's small and trapped beneath a face of innocence, however the hunger for violence within the girl is much more powerful than many know. While on the surface she appears to be a good little Daddy's girl type, she's really one of the most dangerous markswomen that Two-Face's money could buy. An avid lover of guns great and small, she's assassin level trained. Simply put, there isn't a firearm that's been created that Sugar doesn't know how to use and use well. To throw her enemies off and to further fit in with Two-Face's duplicital fantasies, Sugar often assumes the role of the schoolgirl or the dainty lace addicted cutie pie wardrobe wise.

Spice: Two-Face's "Bad Girl", this black haired badass is everything Two-Face could ever want in one of his women. Spice has chosen to fall into the realm of the goth girl. Black lipstick, black leather, black lycra, black everything. Spice's assassin level training falls into a much more up close and personal approach, being more of a hand to hand fighter and blade artist. Swords, knives, blades of any kind are pretty much her forte. However, she herself is a double-edged sword, so to speak, as she's also got a second expertise, which would be her proficiency with poisons. A venemous ex-chemist that definitely knows how to strike.

The Fifty Fifty Club:
Two-Face's most known and well off business venture is the Fifty Fifty Club. While on the surface the club is nothing more than a classic 20's theme night spot, with all the fixings, below it's more of a criminal club. It's highly staffed, on both sides, and without proper access to the speakeasy below, there's nothing that denotes this building as anything but a nightclub. While this isn't his base of operations, per se, it's still one of the places that he spends the most time, so it's the number one spot to go when looking for the gangster. Half legit, half illegal... the Fifty Fifty Club strives to live up to its name on a nightly basis. And it succeeds, apparently, as it's one of the most popular clubs in Gotham.

The Get 'em Boys:
Fodder. That's the best way to explain the boys that Two-Face uses. He's dubbed them The Get 'Em Boys, because that's always what he says in order to send them out into the fray to deal with those meddling heroes. They're all pretty capable and competent fighters, but hardly ever seem to be able to win a fight. The best way to think about these guys would be to think about the old Batman show from the 60s. The Get 'Em Boys are the guys that would be getting pounded by the Dynamic Duo in the midst of large comic intense words of an explosive nature. BAM! BIFF! ZONK!

Underworld Knowledge:
In order to take over the city, one has to know everything they possibly can about the city and it's darker side. Two-Face has eyes and ears everywhere, so he's very knowledgeable on the inner workings, circles, and other issues of Gotham's Underworld. He knows the whos, whats, whens and wheres of almost every major player in the game and keeps regular tabs on the entire Underworld, for purposes of seeking out allies and subtly destroying enemies. The only true weapon of power is the knowledge and knowing how to use that knowledge to one's advantage. Two-Face has mastered that and turned it into an art form.

Wardrobe:

Based on his image, Two-Face has a personal tailor that must always bring out the two sides of Two-Face with his clothes. Two-Face, however, never wears anything but old style suits, as that fits with his 20s obsession quite nicely. Always two tone, of the most opposing degrees and colors, Two-Face's clothes are one of a kind. But the good news about all of this is that Two-Face is always dressed to kill. Literally.

Weaknesses

Criminal Record:
Having a criminal record is never a good thing and Two-Face has himself a rap sheet that's quite long. Having been arrested quite a few times since his turn to Two-Face, he's managed to get himself quite the unlawful following. Criminal records make it very hard for turning over new leaves, should Two-Face ever want to try and redeem himself, as there's something about ex-cons that just make people wary. Stereotypically speaking, at any rate.

Disfigurement:
The entire left side of Harvey's face has been turned into a gruesome visage, thanks to acid. This, of course, makes him look like a monster the 364 days out of the year. The exception is Halloween, of course. However, the fact of the matter is that most people are afraid of what they don't understand and seeing someone walking around, much the way Two-Face does in his condition, tends to make his public outings... not the most pleasant of affairs.

Duality Obsession:
To go along with his constant obsession for all things '2' in nature, Two-Face has an obligation to be stuck on the duality in a way that makes him somewhat crazed and deranged. A weakness because it sometimes acts as his Kryptonite, but allowing others to manipulate him through his unwavering need for duality. Those that possess the right kind of mind could really do Two-Face some mental damage, by screwing around with his love for this or even make him crazy. All it takes is the right combination to set the Two-Face up for a bit of a fall.

Enemies:
Both Harvey Dent and Two-Face have enemies of their own. Two-Face has to deal with Batman and other heroic types. On top of that, Two-Face has to deal with criminals around Gotham, as well as criminals that wanted him taken out when he was merely Harvey Dent. Two-Face and Harvey have both pissed off a lot of people and having to deal with them on a regular basis makes for a very bad time.

Good Or Evil:
Two sides of a coin. Two sides of a mind. One good and one evil. Both of which are ever present and one of which is always in the dominant role, based upon mood and chance. The fact that Two-Face is stuck in the middle, something that will never change, is what keeps him off balance and unpredictable. At any given point in time, he could go from a ruthless cold blooded killer to a caring and merciful msn of leisure and there's nothing that anyone, including himself, can do about it. He's half good and he's half evil. That's the part that scares him.

Justice Obsession:
Two-Face's obsession with justice is a liability, as it tends to take precedence over whatever else may be happening in his life at the time. It's all very dependent on his mood also, as there are times where Harvey's the one keeping an eye on the justice of the world and there are times when Two-Face is. Both of them have their own views of what justice means and how to handle indiscretions that may come up. While Harvey may want to arrest and try someone, Two-Face would probably much rather just shoot the unlawful perpetrator. Either way it goes, Two-Face will go out of his way to make sure that justice is served.

Modus Operandi:
Two. All of Two-Face's crimes, schemes and plots to take over the city have something to do with the number two, duality or opposites. His MO is something that has become very obvious and very easy to pick out if you know how and where to look. Of course, any smart villain would change up his ways, in an attempt to keep the law off his tail, but the insanity that controls Two-Face keeps him from thinking too logically about such things. Obsession rules him and thus is one of his biggest flaws.

Reputation:
Two-Face has the reputation of a criminal around the streets of Gotham. He has been working constantly at creating a criminal empire in which to gain money and power, which is what Two-Face seems to crave for some odd reason. The money and power will allow him to dispense the twisted street justice that he's grown accustomed to, over the years, no doubt. Regardless, though, Two-Face is pretty much recognizable as a criminal, on sight, to most law enforcement agencies and other criminals that may be lurking about in the streets. This would also be apparent to any normal people that may happen to pay attention to the newspaper. All in all, though, his reputation leaves much to be desired and tends to make him automatically seem untrustworthy and evil. Nobody buys the whole 'misunderstood' thing anymore.

Speech:
Whether this is a conscious thing or not, Harvey and Two-Face seem to slip into a specified speech impediment at times... which is the act of talking in first person plural. Their speech can slip in and out of this on occasion, as sometimes one personality will be more dominant than the other, which proves that they are truly two different people. This first person plurality is most commonly present when Two-Face is in the dominant role. However, there are times when Harvey's voice will use it as well. Sometimes, the two minds will be in sync or in agreement.

Furthermore, when Harvey's in control, his tone of voice is more educated, proper and refined, whereas Two-Face speaks in a more rough, gravely tone, reminiscent of a gangster.

Split Personas:
The majority of the world is filled with people that have only one personality, or one way of thinking. They only have to deal with the person in the mirror, when all is said and done. However, for someone like Harvey, who now has a second person in the mirror with him, he's got to answer to two people. Two vastly different personalities, each with their own views, wants and needs. Both of which seem to be pushing for ultimate dominance over the brain and body they both inhabit. One of them Good and one of them Evil, but neither one capable of destroying the other. These personalities clash on a daily basis and even during the most inopportune of times, which tends to make him a walking basket case. One of the few times he's truly vulnerable.

The Coin:
Both Two-Face and Harvey rely on their coin to make their decisions for him. While the coin isn't used for every little thing when there's a question of morals or a dilemma that's way too important for them to agree on, they consult the coin. This is bad because everyone that spends any amount of time with Two-Face knows about the coin and its power over the minds of Two-Face. Two-Face's need to use the coin in certain situations is surprisingly exploitable.

Their Word:

No, this isn't about the Bible. This is about the fact that both Harvey and Two Face share something else in common. Their Word truly is their bond. No matter what may happen, once either of them have given their word on something, be it murder, mercy, or the purchasing of a Time Life video set, they will stick by it regardless of each other's attitude towards it. They both feel heavily strong about this to the point where they won't even argue with each other over it, should it arise. It's a thing, as men, that they have sworn to live by and breaking it doesn't even enter their mind. They'd rather die first.
