Magneto has posed:
Continuing with the one shot comic from last week, the orange sky of the setting sun persists to reach out around the clouds. Most of the flocks of sheep in DC do not know of the coming storm. Retribution is flying through the air slowly, a man with a helmet on his head leads it through the air without any strings or cranes or anything. This large hunk of steel is coasting through the air behind Magneto. He is reaching 1600 Pennsylvania ave finally, several feet up in the air and using a trick he learned over his many years, Erik makes his voice boom around the entire area.

"President Frank Underwood. You stand accused of mutant man slaughter!" The master of Magnetism says as he lowers himself closer to the lawn and drops the train car onto the plush green grass.

Frank Underwood has posed:
The system was pretty good, but it did have its faults. A train car flying over Washington, low enough so as to avoid radar and similar forms of surveillance, were picked up. There were people seeing it, twitting about it, and it did reach the proper channels. At first, they had no idea where it was headed. The White House is always concerned about such things, even if they aren't related. But unfortunately, in this day and age, it was getting harder and harder to deal with extenuating circumstances. President Underwood was not a timid man by nature, and when warned about a floating train coming towards the White House, he hesitated. He didn't immediately evacuate. Plus, there was a certain ring of truth on that one. It set him off his game. Good move, Mr. Lehnsherr, he thought to himself. Even in his private thoughts, Frank Underwood couldn't bring himself to refer to the man as his preferred title of Lord. Why the United Nations ever ceded Genosha to that man, he'll never understand. It was a sign of weakness then, and their weakness had come back to bite him in the ass in a big way.

Fortunately, he did happen to have one of those metahumans, as they so liked to be called, on the payroll, and in the building. He made a point of knowing where they were at all times, since one never did know when they might need a costumed person to save the day. Plus, it was great for a photo op. The people did so love to have a hero to worship, and if he could be seen next to one, well then, all the better. Even as the Secret Service had put the White House on lockdown, and were stressing with him to evacuate, he was refusing with a simple raised hand. "Gentleman, I'll wear the portable force field generator, but I am not leaving this house. Not yet anyway." The last part was added in a lower tone. Then, pressing the button to his intercom, he asked his Chief Secretary, "Janine, would you have Ms. Romanoff brought to my office."

Mystique has posed:
Police, fire, EMT... The Air Force... It was all responding to this threat to the White House. The streets of Washington D.C. were become a complete and total display of marshal law. Emergency plans were being inacted and civilians were both lingering on the streets while others were rushing indoors. No one seemed to have any idea what was going on.

A convoy of Police vehicles were moving toward the White House, sirens and lights all running loudly.

A collection of police vehicles were already outside of the White House as were vehicles owned and operated by the Secret Service... they were waiting for Magneto's arrival and weapons were being drawn by men and women on the ground, more and more by the moment right up to the point where the train car landed on the finely trimmed and kept grass.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Being summoned to the White House for a meeting is always stressful. Natasha had gone through all the work of being approved by the Secret Service then entered the building where she had spent the last twenty minutes in meetings. To say she was ready to leave was an understatement. Her commlink was filled with voices on the Secret Service frequency discussing the approaching mutant with a subway car in tow. Then the voices reached a fever pitch as Magneto actually arrived on the grounds.

Suddenly an agent was handing her back her weapons which she quickly holstered. She was in her SHIELD uniform but had surrendered them as required upon checking in. Then a woman came into the office and she was asked to follow.

The redhead touched her commlink and uttered a few words into it to the Secret Service as she walked. Another touch and she murmured a few more words before being brought into the office.

"You asked to see me, Mr. President?"

Superwoman has posed:
Someone flying with a train towards Washington DC would undoubtedly bring attention- particularly with the b-line towards the White House itself. Always on the job, Faora Hu-Ul, Superwoman- is quick to investigate this oddity of a flying train. From miles away she heard it land. She heard Magneto call the President out.

"Lovely." Faora mumbles to herself, "More petty human politicking. Who's genes are this, who's genes are that." she grumbles, "Just advance genetic engineering and get it over with already..." More grumbling before she arrives in Silver, Crimson, and Black.

Superwoman arrives with a sonic boom that shakes the windows and world- floating quietly over the White House, face flat, arms folded across her chest. She doesn't look particularly happy.

"I do not believe that is the proper location for a locomotive." Faora offers dryly.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Albert Wesker is many things, Bio Terrorist, Killer. But Savior of the president? Not likely but Magneto's actions on the other hand could ignite a major conflict something he intends to stop. And as such he had brought his special gear. Designed to slip through metal detectors and security scanners. He should be more than able to help Stop Magneto. His Super powers and abilities might make him seem like a mutant. And hopefully, lesson the impact on mutants around the world.

With one hand he will fire several Ceramic Rounds at Magneto to get his attention. "For one who fancy's himself a Mutant Messiah, The Leader of a country. You are remarkibly small minded. I see in you the making of another Adolph Hitler, A Joseph Stallin. He calls out.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
<SHIELD> Special Agent Natasha Romanova says, "Attention all agents in the area of the White House. Magneto has just appeared. He dropped a subway car on the lawn and is calling out the President, accusing him of manslaughter. Anyone in the area, please respond. Emergency services are already on scene."

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
<SHIELD> Senior Agent Steve Rogers says, "Copy that, Widow. On the way."
<SHIELD> Special Agent Natasha Romanova says, "I was just called in to see the President. I will give more information when I am able. Currently he is still inside the building."

Magneto has posed:
Magneto extends his hands outwards as if he was the savior on the cross from the mutant race, but the man keeps an unseen field up around his body and he's more than capable of sensing all the metal around himself in several miles. Erik glances up at the flying woman above the house but he doesn't show her too much concern as he is truely on the side of justice.

Reaching slowly into his pocket, Erik says loudly and enhanced again, "Underwood. Frank! I acuse you of murder. I have the murder weapon here." With a gesture behind him, the train is once again pointed out. "I also possess footage of the incident!" The fellow world leader says as he pulls out his phone from his pocket and the screen is lifted slightly towards the white house, the screen still black and locked. "I am here to seek out justice Underwood."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
<SHIELD> Special Agent Clint Barton says, "I'm near DC. On my way Widow."

Frank Underwood has posed:
Inside his office, which was more like a fortress right now, the President used one of his nicer, more sympathetic voices when talking with Agent Romanoff, letting his southern drawl come out. "It would seem that the democratically elected leader of Genosha," and by the way he said democratically elected, it was clear that he meant that in the air quotes manner. Sure, it was a case of the pot most definitely calling the kettle black, but he was the pot, and he could say what he pleased. Continuing, "has decided to make an unscheduled diplomatic visit." He couldn't hear, the room was sound proof, but they were playing audio captured from the outside, as well as video on a screen that had been wheeled in, since the President refused to go to a bunker. "Now darlin', I'm as understanding as the next man, and these fine ladies and gentleman have sworn their lives to protect this nation," he gestured towards the Secret Service who were taking up defensive positions and going to all manner of precaution. "But under the circumstances, I'm sure we'd all feel safer with someone with, unusual circumstances shall we say?" He didn't relish the thought of entering a war with Genosha. There were a lot of mutants here, who could pose a problem for him if he did, so, he would have to certain that he, and America if it were possible, would look like the good guys in all of this.

Mystique has posed:
Not every super hero in this world is well known by the Emergency Responders on site to assist in protecting the White House and its lawn. Some soldiers ontop of the White House have already aimed their weapons now up at Superwoman, unsure of whether she is with them or against them -- as is the nature of the unknown and the fear toward those with super powers versus those without...

The streets continue to clog with arriving police and SWAT vehicles and National Guard are not far away now either.

Ikaris has posed:
The news broke in during the Football game Ike was watching in a diner on the quieter side of New York City, a mere 250 miles away. The man named Ike frowns at the terrorist actions of the Mutant Supremacist. Blegh.. Mutants.. humans with the odd genetic quirk that gave them powers. A poor imitation of his own people. He finishes his meal and drops a twenty on the table. Twice what the meal cost.

Stepping outside, and looking around to ensure no witnesses, Ike soars into the air, and once above 200 feet, he floors it. So to speak. Mach 1 in less than 30 seconds. A Sonic Boom shakes the windows of the diners and likely scares the hell out of the aging waitress but Ikaris is gone.

Just under 20 minutes later, he soars into DC air space and drops down into the lawn of the White House near Faora. Clad in his civies.

Superwoman has posed:
Faora's eyes glow a moment- those fired ceramic bullets burnt away in mid-air. "Violence will be punished." she states simply- this was an increasingly delicate situation. "Your method of justice seeking is efficient. I like efficient." She states, as she interposes between the train and the White House. "However, I do believe this showmanship is unusually... colorful."

Faora pauses, "What proof is this you have?"

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Like all politicians, the President is hiding something. Which makes it impossible for Natasha to tell what it may or may not be. She can't tell if his reactions are to the footage being mirrored for the exterior or some other source. As it stands, she has to go with what she knows.

The President may be in danger. Her job is to protect him.

"I have called for any SHIELD agents in the area. Captain America, Hawkeye and others are on their way to assist." She looks to the footage of the exterior, listening to the accusations. Magneto hasn't actually attacked. He is demanding someone to speak to. "I could remain here but you are well covered with your own people. Or I can go outside to confront him directly, demand he take his accusations through proper routes?" Option three involves going outside for other reasons that don't involve talking. She awaits his orders.

Albert Wesker has posed:
As the bullets are burned away Wesker narrows his eyes at the woman in black and Silver. He had expected some power houses here, and of course most people will assume he might be some mutant, posing as a Neo from that old Matrix. At least until a facial scann confirms his identity.

He doesn't have any of his typical speed injectors, but does have few experimental items here. Hoping that they will not be needed.

"Super-Woman, Perhaps you fail to understand the gravity of the situation. His actions on behalf of mutant kind for one murdered mutant, all it will do is lead to negative repercussions. Normal humans will attack mutants in retaliation, and fear. What about the people who are hurt in such retaliation? What will you do then when he demands their killers pay and performs such a specical, spuring normal people into more violence against mutants."

Captain America has posed:
From the distance, there is a roar of engines that can be heard. It is quickly getting closer and then a Quinjet drops down out of the clouds. The huge 'A' on the back tailfin shows that Avengers are now appearing on the scene. It turns and circles over the assemblage of police, EMTs, and other civil authorities. The Quinjet comes to a hover and slowly desceneds onto the street itself. The lower ramp lowers and Captain America is running out before the craft has even fully settled in. He is moving towards the Police Line, identifying himself, and seeking the officer in charage to get a sitrep. He can't help but look at the subway car planted on the front lawn and Magneto booming out like he is. "Oh boy," he says in his best Sam Beckett.

Black Knight has posed:
High up in the air, almost speck like is a man clad in metal riding on a flying Steed preparing to do battle with the mutant master of magnetism. It is apparently a good day to die for the Black Knight. From on high, the supersonic magical horse tucks his magnificent wings. Like a majestic, feathered stone the duo drops through the air. Magical metal glints as the man and steed drop. Magic, but still magnetic. Some 200 feet above the lawn, the horse spreads his wings, and slowly descends towards the ground.
He should have gone to briefing, or checked in, but part of the man wants to die. Black Knight attempts to land on the White House lawn on his white steed. "By the veil, this is the dumbest thing we have ever done." The horse looks over his shoulder at his rider. The knicker that it gives has a faint laughing sound to it as if Strider agrees.

Hellion has posed:
A public calling out of the President? And the one doing the calling out is one of his idols? Oh this is too good. The reports of gunfire rang through the air, and quickly burned by the Superwoman. Seems there are plenty of flying members of the community here, another joins close to the Genoshan leader.

Hellion descends, hovering on Megneto's side. He doesn't say anything, just giving a nod to the master of magnetism. Though the hovering teen keeps a watch on the do-gooders about.

Frank Underwood has posed:
"Thank you for your efforts and your bravery. I know when not to interfere with people who know what they're doing, so your only instructions from me are to do what you think is best." Turning to the monitor for a moment, "I'd surrender myself immediately if I thought it would resolve this situation without bloodshed. But whatever crimes I'm supposed to have committed, well, name a court that can handle these sorts of things, and I'll gladly submit myself to their judgement." It was a ploy, but it was an honest one. President Underwood knew politics and he knew law. He was far better to fight in that arena than in the court of public opinion. He didn't become President through will of the people, after all. Not the first time anyway. It had the benefit of being true, but he could be so slimey, it was hard to tell. He was just too polished.

Superwoman has posed:
"If the President has murdered a man, he will pay for that crime as any other citizen will pay for their crime. I do not care, or recognize positions of power that protect men from their crimes." Superwoman states simply. "My concerns are two fold. Protect the innocent and visit Justice on the guilty." she looks around, as if daring anyone to add to that. "Your borders matter nothing to me. Your politicks matter nothing to me."

It seems Superwoman is something of a wildcard here. In a sense, at least. "I would prefer this be a peaceful exchange. Please keep it such."

Once more, Faora looks to Magneto- "What is this proof?"

Mystique has posed:
Claire Underwood arrives through one of the doors to where Frank and the others are inside of the White House. Dressed in a white business-style outfit with her hair done perfectly as she'd been scheduled for meetings all day. She walked to her husband with a very concerned... but calm expression.

"My God, Frank." The First Lady said. "What is this all about?" She asked while moving toward the windows to look out onto the lawn at the madness that was unfolding out there.

Claire looked toward Natasha for a moment, she didn't know this woman which made her stare linger a moment longer, but her gaze ultimately returned to the face of her Husband and she walked to stand at his side... reaching out for his elbow to give him a comforting touch of support.

Magneto has posed:
"UNDERWOOD!" Erik calls out with an even more raised voice, ignoring all the heroes and fellow nefarious types around. "Underwood. I can guarantee your safety and a true trial if you come outside now. If you do not, I will force your impeachment by releasing the evidence I have damning you to a life of having your name obscurred and ommited from the history books."

Erik taps his foot twice, waiting for the president to actually respond to the mutant's demand. This isn't something Erik is cherrishing, it's hugely dangerous for him.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America has found the top police officer on the scene, and conversed with him regarding this apparent stand off. Magneto already has a follower now. It is only a matter of time before more arrive, he is sure. Cap reaches up to his ear and taps the communicator there. "Avengers, SHIELD Agents, this is Captain America. Please report your position and situation. Black Knight, back off before we antagonize Magneto more than he is. We aren't looking to start a fight here if we can help it."

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
That earns an arched brow from Natasha but she gives a nod. Then she turns on heel and walks away. Option three was his choice it seems from what she is reading. She will do follow his orders and do what she feels is best. As she comes out of the room, it is secured behind her once again by the Secret Service agents. She taps her commlink, speaking to SHIELD and the Avengers at the same time. "The President is safe for now. I am going outside."

She cuts off and walks through hallways that have become more a fortress of protection. When she reaches the front door, she is allowed out but then the door closes behind her immediately.

Taking in the situation outdoors, she walks straight out onto the lawn and stops about fifty feet from the Master of Magnetism. "The President is listening. He will not be coming to speak to you personally after your little demonstration," she calls out in a strong voice although it doesn't have that power behind it that Magneto's does. "I think we can all understand that. If there is proof of wrongdoing, it can be given to the Avengers and we will follow up. Or the Justice League if you prefer. This is not the way."

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker needs to get Super-woman under control as well as hoping to get Magneto to back down. "And that is exactly why people fear mutants, Metahumans, Aliens. You consider your selves above the laws, our laws." Wesker spots Captian America, and will back off for now. Moving carefully in the direction of captain America. "Such a Flamboyant Display Captian. All eyes out here, guards distracted." He whispers when he gets close to Captian America.

Ikaris has posed:
"Erik! Stop Showboating and get down here. You are accomplishing nothing but fear and hostility by carrying on like this. A boy of your age should know that." Ike shouts up at the Master of Magnetism. Treating him how he's behaving. A child having a temper tantrum. "Showing what you call 'proof' of wrong doing and demanding action be taken on your word alone is a childs games Erik and you know it." He doesn't move other than that, arms resting easily at his sides. Non-threatening.

Superwoman has posed:
Faora remains between Magneto and the White House. Arms still crossed as she floats half a foot or so from the ground- staring daggers towards Magneto. She reaches out with her senses to get a better idea of just what's going on. "You're the one who was discharging a weapon near the white house, into the back of a man who has made no violent attacks." she rebutts Albert. " I suggest someone with police authority arrest that man before he makes this tenuous situation worse. He is an agitator and is trying to create tension between the parties present. He has already committed the crime of attempted murder."

Frank Underwood has posed:
Of course, if this was what Frank suspected it to be, then Claire new all about this. Her concerns were for those within earshot, such as the Black Widow, the Secret Service agents, the numerous listening and recording devices, and anyone else in the Oval office. Frank returned her public displays as often, continuing her charade, "Who can say? But we will get through this. The nation will get through this. And if I have to answer for crimes I'm supposed to have committed, I will do so through the proper channels, in a dignified manner, as befits the office of which I am honoured and blessed to hold."

Iron Man has posed:
It takes some time, but eventually there's a little streak in the sky and then the sound of music comes blaring through the speakers of Iron Man's suit, his presence not hard to identify nor is the telltale arrival given the sound of music. A bit of 'The Clash' plays as the words chant out. <<I fought the law and the...law won. I fought the law and the...law won.>> "Sorry...I didn't mean to interrupt. Just...there's a lot of traffic in DC during the holiday season and you're really messing with folks. Retailers are losing money cause you're slowing down the internet as people log in and try to buy things and instead no one's shopping cause we're watching your mug on TV. What say we all settle down, do the whole legal thing in court, and let folks go back about their day, huh?"

It appears Iron Man has shown up with jokes. Be afraid....or not, as he hovers off to the side, going to hang out at least a goodly distance away from the master of magnetism.

Iron Man has posed:
"And Iron Man...reporting in above you. In case you missed it Cap. Nice spot by the way. The flashing police lights really bring out your eyes." Yes...that's out loud over the speakers...not on the radio.

Black Knight has posed:
The problem with getting your life in order, is it tends to make you value it. Today, the Black Knight's death wish just is not powerful enough for him to disobey one of the few men he truly respects. Merely lifting his right hand, showing no weapon in it. The left joins it, and the horse starts to trot towards the fence. Unless halted, the horse will leap the fence, pumping its wings a couple of times. The horse alights on the ground and gives Black Knight a little look that suggests the horse thinks less of him now. "Shaddap." The knight retorts as the horse just gives that laughing whicker. "You would make great magical glue." Strider is still laughing.

Mystique has posed:
Claire Underwood watched Natasha leave and then turned back to Frank as he spoke. There were White House aides and staffers all milling about around them looking distrought, and many of them lost on their cell phones texting away with fast tapping fingers.

Claire heard her husband's response and she just sighed and shook her head, looking back into the light of the day shining through the sheer white curtains.

"I need a cigarette." She muttered, before looking back to Frank, watching him closely. "We need this over with as fast as possible... If he refuses to show his 'evidence' to your representitive, then we have to figure out how else to get him to show what he has. I... can go out there and try."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint had been dropped off further back than Cap and so had to haul ass to get up to the scene of the action, jumping and weaving through cars, until he's in sight of Magneto, off to the mutant's right. "Definitely going to need to talk to R&D about that Skycycle idea," he mutters to himself, before he gets into position. Bow out, arrow in hand.

Over comms he says << Barton here. On site. Got a shot if we need it >> then more cheerfully he switches to Avengers channels. << Hey guys, we always get the fun ones don't we? >>

Magneto has posed:
"I think it's time you all check the local news outlets." Magneto says, his voice soft this time, but seemingly emitting from nearly every piece of metal in the area. "The video evidence should be falling into their hands any moment now." Erik says, looking at Natasha for a brief moment before his eyes follow Dane Whitman and his horse back over the fence.

Faora gets a glance but then Erik's eyes spot Clarie in one of the windows and has had enough. "I am tired of this one sided conversation." Then in a subtle whisper to himself, "Forgive me Charles." "Frank! I think it's time we talk face to face." He says without a follow up movement for now.

Captain America has posed:
"Widow, if you can talk him down, I am all for it," responds Captain America over the comm. Hopefully his eyes are not in range of any news cameras so they won't seem the rolling at Iron Man's comments over the speakers. "Iron Man, Black Knight. Be prepared to extract Widow if need be. Unfortunately, you two are probably not our best bet against the Master of Magnetism." He walks over towards Black Knight, eyes through the gate on Black Widow, Faora, and Magneto.

Superwoman has posed:
Faora continues to stare quietly at Magneto. Arms still crossed. The Kryptonian Superwoman doesn't look particularly happy, but it has been said she may have one of the most stunning resting bitch faces in all of creation. She floats on, waiting, watching, and drawing in all the information she can with her super-human senses.

Frank Underwood has posed:
"No," Frank said strongly, and then followed it up with a softer "no. I won't have you going out there, putting yourself in harm's way. Besides, think about how it would look. And, there's no way in hell that these people are going to allow that." It was a subtle move on his part, saying that with so many of them in earshot. Was it an order from their president, or just an observation. None of them knew, and thus, they'd all want to cover their asses by preventing it. He and Claire had been on something of the outs of late. She was still bitter that he wouldn't allow her to run as his vice president two years ago. It was part of the reason the real Claire had taken the suggestion to go down to the bunker.

When Magneto explains that the video would be falling into the hands of the news agencies, the footage switched from the Lord of Genosha to what appeared to be a blurry image of a man in trench coat, with his face obscured, walking behind some debris. A woman followed. She fell backwards into an oncoming train. The man later walked out. It was hardly damning evidence, but there was some similarities to the president in some of the shots. Still, that could easily be faked and would necessitate an independent and detailed analysis to be of any use. But that would be a court of law, and this was the court of public opinion. Soon, the talking heads would be arguing about its legitimacy.

Magneto has posed:
<D.B.C.> April O'Neil on Channel Six out of NYC is reporting on video footage being aired now, Live. The footage is show a man in a trenchcoat and hat talking to a young woman in a Subway station. They seem to be having an argument. The woman stalks away from the man in the hat and coat toward the tracks. A moment later the man in the hat and coat lunges at the back of the woman and SHOVES her onto the track just as the lights of an oncoming train streaks across the camera's focus! A moment later the man in the coat and hat turns and moves away, raising his collar up... but the camera freeze-frames on his face. The face of Frank Underwood, caught moments after seemingly committing murder.

Hellion has posed:
Hellion keeps his hover around Magneto's back. If anything he was going to make sure anyone taking post shots at him will be dealt with severely. The young mutant clad in black and crimson, the same style outfit he had worn in Mexico when he liberated Mutants in Mexico with Magneto himself.

Fingerless gloves point at Wesker, then back to his own eyes, flashing green as he taunts.

Black Knight has posed:
Under the helm, Dane Whitman grins. <<I don't like. Oh shit.>> That was loud in his metal helmet. "Steve." He slides off the horse, and presses his Photonic blade at the captain. He whispers, "Avalon." His armour and magical blades vanish, though the indomitable Ebony Blade appears on the horses's saddle bags. The Black Knight is wearing his helmet now, and a rather snazzy tweed suit, with leather elbow patches. "Don't laugh. I was shopping. For my girlfriend. From Canada." He reaches fir the photonic blade again. The horse would be cackling if horses actually laughed. "I'll get Tasha. She just better be ready to go if we do." He sounds certain. "We cannot kowtow to Magneto, but if Underwood is dirty." He just looks at the good captain.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker Narrows his eyes as he moves into a position where he can hopefully get better shots. He knows something is up as his eyes move to look at the white house and already he is thinking that this is a set up as he pulls out his own video data and says, "Conveniantly placed camera Magneto. Perfect shot of his face, undenible. For all intents and purposes a full conviction. But Has the idea of a shape shifter crossed your mind? I have seen several in my days. On the surface, indistinguishble really." His mind on the shape shifting powers of Alex Mercer. And then looking at Keller Wesker almost readying a smile at him. He's trying to at least draw Magneto's attention

Superwoman has posed:
Superwoman can hear the startled gasps. She can sense the changes in the crowd- heart beats, breaths, words being said. It certainly sounds damning, from the reactions of those she focuses on. However, her eyes remain on Magneto- even if her other senses are focused elsewhere.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
As the footage is played, suddenly the SHIELD commlink goes crazy. Natasha hears the agents on the other end explaining the footage the she cannot see from her spot on the lawn. It may or may not be real. But it certainly is damning if it turns out to be. "Your footage is being aired," she says for Magneto's benefit. He probably knows it already. She isn't sure of the full extent of his powers. "Now leave it in the hands of the right people. This doesn't have to happen, Mr. Lensherr. Stop before things get even more out of hand. You've been heard and this will not be ignored."

She fears she will be ignored and that things are about to go from bad to worse.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America puts a hand in front of his mouth as Black Knight appears in his helmet and a tweed jacket. After a moment he composes himself. "We are not kowtowing to anyone. We will found out the truth and act accordingly. Just be ready." He taps the comm calling up Hawkeye. "Hold that shot. Hoping it won't come to that, but be ready."

Mystique has posed:
Claire watched the evidence unfold on a telelvision set into the wall behind a retractable segment of said wall. She sighed whole-heartedly. A moment later and she turned around to look at all the non-essential personnel who were also looking at the television screen.

"Leave us." Claire said to them. Her eyes went to the guards posted at both of the doorways and she knew full-well that they weren't going to leave, but the others? They had no business here.

Once the needless had filtered out, Claire looked to her husband. "When you were courting me, all those years ago... You said you'd do anything to achieve our goals. Do you remember that?" She asked him, stepping up to his side again. "Obviously this footage can be faked... especially with today's technology. But what can't be faked, is what they can pull out of your head." Claire glanced outside.

"Thats what these people are doing to this world. Using their powers to make it... safer." She looked back over and up to her Husband.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
<< Fine by me Cap. Consider me on standby. Nat, watch yourself >> Clint says over comms. He crouches then, watching, hoping this was going to be the end of it. He doubted it though.

Frank Underwood has posed:
There weren't too many non-essential personnel in the Oval office, plus, the First Lady of the United States held no authority, especially in a crisis, so only a couple left. The Chief of Staff remained, General Walker remained, Director Flint, Agents Tan, Davies, Rodriguez, Crowe, Roy, Muller, Smith, Holland, and Lithgow all remained, to name just a few.

It was hardly private, but it was a little less busy. "Why yes, Claire, I do." He didn't know where she was going with this. He was about ready to have her sent down into the bunker by one of those many agents. "Of course it can be faked. You can do that with Photoshop, StarkMechanic, or LexSuite. And you know as well as I do, that any information gleamed from telepathy is inadmissible, not that there's anything to gleam." The stress had caught him on that. "Where are you going with this?"

Beast has posed:
Visiting the whitehouse for a meeting on a proposed bill regarding subsidized medical care for mutants and other metas, a certain blue furred mutant had hoped the only sparring would have been of the intellectual variety and emergancy free. But when his X-Phone kept vibrating in his pocket while he was making his presentation he tried to ignore it.. Until secret service rushed in and led out a few of the people attending his small private lecture.. And locked him IN the room. He knew something bad was happening since, and the phone kept vibrating insistantlty. He had left implicit instructions not to contact him unless something potentially world altering was happening. With a growl he pulled the phone and thumbed it on. "What is it?!?" he asks, peeved at the whole strange situation.. then his bestial face becomes drawn.. "What?" he asks, then quickly runs to the Window and stares out through the curtains..

If someone asked Doctor Henry "Hank" McCoy what his top three nightmares this is perhaps at the top of his list. Magneto in the capitol.. Apparently calling out the president.

"Oh my stars and garters.." he whispers as the metal vibrates with Magnetos's every word.. and he watches the stream of the murder again on the phone.. and again.. and it doesn't take a genius like him to know what is going to happen.

"Oh no.. No, Erik...." he whispers and then starts beating on the window, a window made of nearly missile proof materials, at the distant figure.. screaming. "NO, ERIK! DO NOT DO IT!! LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT OF HERE!"

Magneto has posed:
"I'm not here to harm the president." Erik says in response, taking a moment to turn his attention around at the crowds and he can feel the energy in the air and the defense disipate slowly. He then levels his eyes back at Natasha, blinks once and then turns his gaze back up to the window. Lifting his hand towards the window he saw Claire in and he gets the slightest smirk, barely hidden by the helmet. He aims his fingers softly at the wall of the white house and with a tug, the nails, the wiring, the pipes, the window frames, every piece of metal within the wall morphs into a large single plate and the entire wall, the window and parts of the ceiling and floor are ripped away from the structure, before falling to the lawn, smothering bushes in a huge puff of smoke and dust and debris.

"I'm here to save him from everyone else. Can you promise his safety. How well vetted is everyone on staff." Erik notes calmly.

Black Knight has posed:
"We need to trade a little on your integrity and get some back channel action with Genosha. If he wants to see justice done, well no one is above the law." The Ebony Blade gives an unwholesome dull scarlet glow, as if longing to drink a murderer's blood. Black Knight adjusts his suit coat. "I kind of hope I have to fetch her while wearing this coat. She'll be mortified." He switches his com on. <<It goes south, Widow, Strider and I are coming for you.>> He leans low over the horse's back. "Can we get an arrest warrant signed on this evidence? Civics class was a while back for me. Can we -- by the veil!"

Iron Man has posed:
Having been floating there, Iron Man has been watching the exchanges. There's a lot of talk, and a lot of video. He's one not to rush to things though. Alien invasions, people of power...it's usually better to hold out and see the end game and where it's going than to get caught up in the details. <<Come on guys, nothing is being done but talking. No need to get our pant--undies in a wad. Sorry there Nat....>> he says, clearing his throat. <<It all seems fi--aww crap.>>

As the wall of the White House starts to move, Iron Man goes flying away from Magneto and his mutant escort and flies down towards the White House, trying to get his suit, and his thrusters, underneath any of the supports so that...you know, little things like the roof don't come falling down on the occupants. Cause then there's a potential issue. He's a big fan of not having buildings fall on people...at least not anymore. Don't ask.

Captain America has posed:
"Oh hell," Captain America curses under his breath, hoping no one can hear that, as the wall is yanked out of the White House. "Iron Man, Black Knight, guard and support that hole! No one leaves the White House! And no one gets hurt!" He is moving toward the tall fence surrounding the home of the president, vaulting up and over to land on the lawn behind Magneto and Hellion. He keeps quiet for now seeing what Black Widow can do before attempting to put too many voices out there.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker narrows his eyes as he watches, Waits. And then it happens, Magneto clearly being the aggressor, but still. He moves, For Jullian, and anyone with normal human perceptions, he is suddenly twenty feet to the left and closer to Keller, Moving it rapid bursts of Speed. He's watching Keller ready to react the moment his eyes land on him appearing in a new location. He isn't shooting yet, but he is trying to close the gap with those fast jaunts so he can get in closer where his faster reaction time can give him the advanage. He hopes.

Assuming he can get close Wesker tries to make a palm thrust to the man's chest to try and knock the wind out of him.

Iron Man has posed:
There's definite strain in his voice. <<Thanks...Cap. Quick as a whip I always say...>> His lips purse a bit as he is in the suit. <<Mental note - Carbon. Good against Magneto. Bad on the air conditioning. It's a bit toasty in here. Just so you know. If we can do a little thing like move emergency services along in evacuating the building that'd go a long way in my not having to hear all about this from Pepper later.>>

Yeah...that's his number one concern now. Yes, the President is in danger. Yes...he's going to suffer some -serious- dehydration by the time this is over. But none of that compares to the lashing he's going to get from Pepper when he gets back to Stark Towers. And for a moment the thrust seems to drop out before he kicks it back in and the normally steady Iron Man has a little wobble there in the specialized suit. <<I meant to do that.>>

Black Knight has posed:
Dane Whitman says, "Hah!" The horse leaps into the air, wings spreading wide! White feathers fall like something from a John Woo film. A few dozen wing beats and the horse flies towards the gaping hole in the White House. Black Knight's horse is preternaturally fast. His tweed sport coat flaps in the wind."

Frank Underwood has posed:
Ripping a supporting wall out of a building is not a good thing. Removing the nails, metal beans, electronics, security, everything in there to make the oval office into a fortress, within the fortress that is the modern White House, has the roof caving in on that oh so ceremonial of rooms, and the floor below too. The President heroically, and perhaps foolishly, throws himself onto Claire, trying to protect her from the debris that falls from the ceiling. A few of the Secret Service agents were standing too close when the wall was torn, and fell, falling to their deaths. American blood had been spilled by the leader of Genosha. The die was cast.

Iron Man reacts soundly, and manages to save some people from being murdered by the Master of Magnatism's efforts to pry open the White House. While still on the ground, and with the remaining Agents either opening fire at Magneto, or trying to pull the President and the first lady to safety, the Frank mumbles something, "everything I ever did... it was all for you..." it wasn't true, but he knew that they might be his last words.

Superwoman has posed:
Faora's off like a shot- moving faster than almost anyone could see. She, too, would be preventing loss of life today- it was clear that murder was intended, and so for the President and his Wife did she go- faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and all those sentimental Kryptonian things. Her plan? Get the President (And his wife) somewhere safe, and away from Magneto.

Hellion has posed:
Julian in fact raises his arms, green energy from his arms reflect on the roof of the structure. Keeping things secured should they decide to crumble. Though the boy's concentration is broken once Wesker attempts to harm him. The strike lands as the Hellion is distracted. A cheap shot, and one that does not go unrequited.

"You...are going to regret that." He quips, before his eyes go flush with green light. Hellion raises his arms to Wesker, attempting to grab hold of the blonde man's arms telekinetically. "Tell me exactly why I shouldn't rip your arms off right here on the lawn." He cranks the pressure on Wesker, making sure to be causing pain.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Enough!" Natasha snaps. She automatically drew her sidearm when the side of the building was torn open. Useless. She keeps it in hand but doesn't bother pointing it at Magneto. She wasn't prepared with rounds that would be able to harm him. "Magneto, stand down! I give you my word that I will take Underwood into custody. We can and will protect him and that includes from a foreign dignitary trying to kidnap him." Since in essence, that is what he is right now. "I know you are angry. You said this was about mutant man slaughter. I'm guessing the woman in the video was a mutant. Let us do our jobs."

Then the word comes over the comm. Agents down. Magneto just crossed the line. There is no coming back. "Magneto, this is your one chance to stand down and turn yourself in. You have now killed innocent men and women who were just doing their job."

Beast has posed:
Hank keeps beating at the window of the outer confeence room, franticaly, even as he hears Magneto's comment. He wants to believe Magneto is not here to do anything rash but.. oh hell, even if he is NOT going to kill the president or the entire cabinet or whomever, he /is/ being rash no matter how calm he seems.

Growling, Hank turns around and grabs the metal lecturn like it is a baseball bat and with a tremendous swing he strikes at the window... and it /doesn't break.

"You have got to be /kidding/ me. I swear, Stark, when I get my hands on you for supplying the whitehouse with these extreme ballistic proof transparent metamaterials.." he grouses...Then he wavers as the house seems to /shift/ as Magneto pulls a whole /wall/ away.

"Damnit Erik!" he seethes and goes for plan B. The exterior may be proof against even his enhanced strength but the interior doors... not so much. He Rubns at the door like the linebacker he once was in chool and littrall pops the security door of it's weakest points.. the hinges.. and the door blows outwards and strikea the opposite hall way door, to the surprise of the two guards who were left there. Their guns are already drawn, because of teh situarton, but they weren't expecting this. They bring their werapons to bear and Hank deftly disarms both of them, one with a hand the other wioth a foot, then ejects their clips and hands them back... his face narrowed into a rictus of anger.

"Take me to the Oval office.. /NOW/, damnit! We need to save the damned /PRESIDENT/"

Mystique has posed:
Claire would show a soft smile to her husband's response. She looked back over at the other men and women that were still in the room, all eyes were on them or the television. Some were even throwing in their own comments to the First Family, but Claire wasn't interested in what they had to say.

"Yes, its not something a court would use. Thats why the only way to respond to a situation like this, is with the same level of respect you paid them. Because the real truth, the real truth is locked away in your head. No matter how many of us share the knowledge of what you've done. To that poor girl, and... the others." The First Lady continued to speak softly and calmly. "Maybe enough damning evidence could be found to win a court over... But probably not. You're too good."

Thats when the room started to come apart and she was tackled by the man she was speaking with, her eyes were clamped shut and she turned her head until things seemed to calm down again. She didn't open them again until he spoke to her.

Claire's head slowly turned to look at him. "Thats why your last memories will be so satisfying to me." She said bak to him.

POP!

POP!

Two gunshots rang out from between their bodies, and due to their closeness... there really was no travel time or ability for anyone to react.

"Mutant. And. Proud." Claire Underwood said softly up to the man she'd just shot

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker wasn't expecting a Telekentic, and of course he did have a Back up. But Gripped Wesker has a back up plan of course but his arms, his bones his tendons are not so easilly ripped, "Because I put something on you when you were distracted." and of course there is a Beeping on Kellar. And it is coming from his belt. A small device was planted on his belt, like a flashbang it suddenly it goes off.

Black Knight has posed:
The horse wings towards Black Widow, and a tweed clad arm pushes out and over as Black Knight leans over to attempt to grab at the master spy. "Widow!" Black knight's voice rings out. He is just attempting to get her out of the line of fire as all hell is about to truly about to break out. Radios and coms have gone nuts. The horse will sweep up towards the collapsed roof of the White House.

Superwoman has posed:
Sometimes, even Superwoman can't be fast enough to save the day. Still- Faora heard the pops. She heard the words- and as she arrived, Claire would be hard pressed to escape the hand that would wind around her neck, or the blast of tremendous heat energy that would fly from Superwoman's eyes in an attempt to remove the offending hand that held the gun. If successful, she would simply toss the body- without a care for where it landed, or how hard it struck whatever it was it would strike. Assuming she was able to hit at all.

In either regard, Superwoman would be quick to pick up the President and rush him to the hospital- pausing only for the scantest moment. "Call . On the way. Two shots..." she states, "Prepare the ER in Georgetown." Speaking of the local hospital in DC, the closest to their current location.

Beast has posed:
Hank is almost at the Oval Office Doors, having left the two guards in the dust as he bounds through, around, and over any and everyone who gets in his way. He has popped an earbug into his ear, connecting to the X-Men's com net as he pushes past panicking civillians. "X-Men, do you hear me? This is Beast. Code M, I repeat Code M at the Whitehouse..." he says as he reaches the presidents's office doors... and even over all the noise around him he hears the distinct sound of gunshots.. "NO.. No no no no!" he pants as he barrels grabs an overhang and kicks the doors (already weakened by the compromised structural integrity caused by Magneto literal shearing a side of the building off). Being much heavier than other doors in the building they don't fly but just fall inwards, narrowly missing people as Hank lands on the floored door and stares at the scene in horror. "NOOOOoooooOOO!"

Frank Underwood has posed:
Portable force field generators were an incredibly expensive and rare piece of technology. Some superheroes, and villains, had access to it, or similar technologies, and the President of the United States used one in cases of emergency, like tonight. He would have liked to think that was why he threw himself on Claire, because he knew he could survive it. But in truth, it was love, or as close an approximation as man like he was capable of. But there was one problem with such devices. They only worked when turned on.

When he threw himself over Claire, protecting her, she deactivated it, giving her the opportunity to shoot him twice in the chest at point blank range. Neither hit his heart, but they did the damage they needed to. And as a final act of wickness, she reactivated the field. It was easy enough. He wore it on his belt, and she knew the make and model. Usually, if someone got close enough to deactivate such a device, it was already over. Just as his Presidency was. He might have survived the recording. But this, this was more than any man, even Francis Joseph Underwood, could handle.

He lay there, on the floor, having heard mutant and proud. "So, was I..." he said, as blood ran out of his mouth, pooling strangely on his face, as the field wouldn't allow it to escape. Gases could pass through, but not solids, or liquids.

Hellion has posed:
The telekinetic has no way to really protect against the flashbang places on his belt, as it goes off, his grip on Wesker is loosed, and Julian, while he was hovering above the scene, falls to the ground. Hands on his ears, he must take a moment to regain himself before he gets back to a vertical base. His ears still ring, not having heard much of anything that went on with the First Lady or the President.

Iron Man has posed:
"Shots fired!" So announces Iron Man...as he hovers in the air, put into a bit of a stalemate as his wanting to do anything, even react or try to capture the shooter would result in more people getting hurt since he is currently one of the support walls of the White House. Not that you can see inside the suit but the heat and extra strain from supporting the whole damned roof. <<Seriously guys. It's getting hot in here...and you know how the rest of that lyric goes which none of you want to see...well except Steve. I know it's been a long time for him. But we need to get folks to safety and then worry about Magnet boy.>>

See, facing the way he is, looking out where <he thought> the threat was, he didn't actually get to see where the shots came from.

Magneto has posed:
Magneto feels it, feels the metal slugs get lodged into Frank's body. "Oh. No." Erik says with a few blinks, as he knows exactly what's going to happen next. In the bigger picture at least. He's suddenly lost in the details of reality. The master of magnetism is generally good at the improvisation these kind of situations require, but there's far too many heroic types around.

He knows who shot and yet what he doesn't know how to save her. Or even himself. This is a worst case senario. The metallic fields around him wavering for a brief moment before he grimaces tightly and his hands go towards the silver helmet on his head and he takes it off slowly, dropping it to the ground.

Albert Wesker has posed:
As Wesker is Freed from the Grip of the telekenetic as he will actually throw another concussion grenade up are the telekenetic. With his strength, aim and mental calculations. It should of course detonate just as he is getting his baring back. And with It Wesker is seeking to escape. His information comes as he narrows his eyes at Magneto, Magneto's fight for mutants just took a bad turn. And Wesker will make sure it Costs Magneto dearly... but how to do so without causing more choas in the world....

Captain America has posed:
"Black Knight! Get that area evacuated while Iron Man holds up the roof! We need everyone out of there before anymore get hurt!" Captain America watches Faora take off with the president. "John, follow her in the Quinjet," he calls over the comm and the Quinjet roars to life, lifting up into the air, and turning to follow the Kryptonion. "Widow, either take down Magneto or get out of there! Coming in from behind!" He is moving quickly across the lawn, leaping upward to climb up the dropped subway care, and launces his shield towards Magneto even as the man removes his helmet.

Mystique has posed:
Claire had already tossed the gun aside when Superwoman's heat vision slammed into it a mere fraction of a second later causing it to sizzle/melt as it flew toward the floor of the Oval Office.

Superwoman successfully yanked the First Lady out from underneath the shot President and she tossed the blonde woman aside like Claire was made of literally nothing. Claire's body slammed into the mantel above the fireplace and she then fell and landed amongst those that were still alive and hunkered down on the floor... She laid there motionlessly amongst the others that were cowering...

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
As Dane swoops in, Natasha sees that shift in the posture of Magneto. "Sorry, handsome, got to decline the lift." And she ducks clear of the arm from the Black Knight, quickly moving toward the leader of Genosha as his helmet hits the ground at his feet.

The comms share the information about what happened to the President. Natasha moves up next to the gray haired man who doesn't seem so defiant suddenly. "Erik Lensherr, I need to take you into custody," she says softly as she draws out a quick tie that can be used for his hands. She tries to place a gentle hand on his shoulder, a small device within that holds her Widow's Bite. She doesn't set it off but leaves the bite attached to his clothing. If she even manages to touch him. "We need to get you out of here before you're killed." Strange to be protecting the one that is behind all this but it doesn't change what she needs to do.

Beast has posed:
Hank barely has time to move as the kryptonian grabs the president and flies off, but he has seen enough to know who fired... since Superwoman heatzapped the gun AND tossed the First lady across the room to hit the wall with a sickening thud.

But despite the horror at the situation, despite the fact that it /seems/ teh first lady shot the president, despite the fact that the streaming media is fingerpointing at the president as being a murderer himself.. Well.. hank is first and foremost a doctor and he leaps over rubble and passed other stunned cabinet members to come to the prone first lady's body.

"Somebody get me a damned AMBULANCE!" he orders out, still confused over everything. Did Erik know what was going to happen? He checks Claire's pulse and starts doing a cursory check for internal injuries as best he can without his tools.

"What the /hell/ is going on..." he whispers as he continues his triage.

Hellion has posed:
With the second grenade going off, Hellion has little recourse than to try to get up again, this time, he stumbles, his middle ear not quite working right. "Magneto!" He calls, attempting to rise up again to the air. He manages to lift himself up, but also attempts to get Magneto too, at least to safety. "Sir." He calls, but too late, Widow had made it to his role model, young man was torn between saving himself, or fighting the now many heroes around.

Superwoman has posed:
Faora could only frown at the evidence being destroyed. She didn't have time to fix this mistake. It was to the hospital, and directly into the ER. All the required material for triage and surgery would likewise be moved into position faster than any human could hope to do.

However, Faora is not a doctor. She does know battle-field medicine, and will maintain that level of care until proper doctors can arrive. And once they do? She's gone. Off again to go wherever it is she goes when she's not fighting crime or destroying murder evidence.

Black Knight has posed:
Complete trust. She ducks, that arm moves away. The horse tucks his wings and there is a cloud of debris as the horse's hooves hit the floor. Black Knight stares at Hank for a moment. "Doctor McCoy? We cannot risk an ambulance. I have a horse, can you ride? We need to get the first lady out. And you as well. It's about to get ugly." He starts to remove his coat in case she gets shocky. "Uglier"
"If you can move, get out, get clear, and get assistance!" His baritone thunders as he goes on autopilot. The Black Knight points as he slides off the horse.

Magneto has posed:
"Go." Erik says softly to Julian. "I will be alright." Magneto turns his attention then towards Natasha. "I will come with you peacefully, if you take that think off me." The mutant says sternly to the super spy. The helmet is left and he doesn't put his hands behind his back but he's calmly going to follow Natasha's lead and sendign him where to go and what he needs to do to expidite this. The war is started, he's going to be on the right side.

Mystique has posed:
Claire would be rolled over by Hank McCoy and he'd find the First Lady laying seemingly unconscious... but she would come-to moments later and she'd blink her eyes to wake herself up after being tossed across the destroyed room.

"Where is Frank?" She asked, her voice weak and timid. "What h-happened." She raised her left hand up to her forehead and winced in a clear indication of immense internal pain and suffering.

Her eyes would look then to Dane, not knowing who he was or where he'd come from. "Take me to my husband." She said then to both Hank and Dane. "Please. I need to see him!"

Claire Underwood then tried to set up, to right herself and expediate the need to go to wherever Frank was!

Beast has posed:
Hank looks up and blinks as his second nightmare shows up.. A Winged Horse. No, really, as a biochemist and geneticist Pegasii are one of is nightmares. They are freakin /impossible/ damnit. The mass to wingspan ratio alone, not taking into account the neaded musculature...

No.. No time to think about it.

"Cannot rosk an /ambulance/?!?" he asks incrediously. "The first lady was thrown across the room and into a wall by a SUPERHUMAN. I am afraid to move her without a BACKBOARD and you think it would be better to put her on the back of a physics defying flying equine?" he returns to his patient. "If we move her unduly we may /kill/ her. And we need her /alive/. I think /she/ shot the president... The flying woman used her occular heat beams to melt something out of her rhands.. So While I hate to impose on you, Sir Knight, keep yourself and your mount between me and anything ugly if you will.. you are better armoured.."

Of course, that is when Claire awakes and tries to get up. "Do /not/ move.." he says, almost angrily. "You may have suffered accute physical trauma.. And... I think you saw him enough, Madam Underwood...."

Hank takes a deep breath and attempts to hold her down on the floor, gently.

"Madam Claire Underwood, First lady of the United States... As dictated by civil law I, Doctor Henry McCoy, am informing you that I am placing you under Citizens arrest for the apparent assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder of your Husband, The President of the United States of America Frank Underwood.. I and my associate here will be holding you here until proper medical attention and authorities arrive.. "

Captain America has posed:
"Is everyone out of there, Knight?" calls Captain America through the commlink. "That place is getting close to two hundred years old. It isn't going to hold up much longer. Anyone complains, send them to me." He stands on top of the subway car watching the scene and then is running towards the White House as Widow seems to be taking Magneto into custody. "Iron Man! How much longer do we have until it collapses around you?"

Iron Man has posed:
"You have got...to be....kidding me." Yes, it's Stark again, inside the suit. "I swear to something swearable...not gods cause then Thor would...anyway find another room to check her out in. Get people out of this one. This building is going to come downa nd my suit is about to go into overheating. Seriously..." and even as he says it, his suit starts to blip again, those thrusters cutting out and then jumping back on like they did a bit ago but it's rough going, and he's serious. "Unless you can tell me that the medical prognosis for moving a patient prematurely is better than the medical prognosis for being buried under tons of stone and rock...." says a somewhoat annoyed Tony Stark. <<I'm a Doctor he says....well I'm not an engineer or a physician but I can tell you premature burial isn't good for anyone!>> Yeah, he vents on the Avengers comm link cause you know, it doesn't have anything better to do than to listen to his being grumpy as his get serious swamp shorts thanks to the heat inside that suit.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
There is something going on here that they are not understanding.

Natasha isn't wasting time trying to figure it out. At the words from Magneto, she frowns a bit but she does reach up and remove the tiny disk from his shoulder. She motions toward the street where the Quinjet is parked. Into the comm she murmurs, <Magneto has surrendered. I'm taking him to the Quinjet, away from here, and to a secure location quickly. Before any more powered beings show up to try and take him down.> It is said loud enough for Magneto to hear. His young companion needs to be taken into custody as well but one super powered mutant at a time.

Hellion has posed:
Julian looks a bit for,Ron as he decides to accept Magneto's word. His eyes tear up before he begins flying off to a fallback point. Time to regroup, and make plans to fix the situation. Or at lest, seek someone who would know how to best go about getting their leader back.

Black Knight has posed:
"They are moving. Tony. I hope to hell we're secure. Doctor Hank McCoy is trying to place the first lady under citizen's arrest for the murder of the president. I repeat, I have a person accusing the first lady of murdering the president." He points. "Get out unless you want to be paste. You are a Doctor? Great. Engineer. Stark is screaming in my ear for you to move. So unless you want mt lightsaber up your ass, move her now!" Black Knight moves to assist a couple of agents out. "Move your ass, doctor! This building is coming down and neither I nor Captain America are putting an ambulance in Magneto's reach."

Mystique has posed:
Claire heard all of what Frank said and she scoffed. "You can't possibly be serious." She replied to him as he held her down. "I am absolutely fine now. I was... under some kind of mind control. That w-woman... who tossed me across the room, she must be some sort of Telepath. She wore the same style of clothing as Superman, a species from another world that we know next to nothing about the limit of their abilities!"

Claire seemed quite frustrated and she continued to try to rise up. "I don't go jogging every morning at 5am to be treated like a frail old woman! Now stand up and take me out of this room if you must, but I am no damn murderer! You have to find my husband!"

Once more Claire would try to rise and hopefully leave this ruined space of what was once a wealth of American pride but was now a gaping open wound of a crumbling presidency.

Beast has posed:
Hank grits his teeth as a somewhat familiar voice comes over his ear com and it /isn't/ one of his X-friends... "I swear to whatever powers exist, Anthony, I have told you more than once /not/ to peep on X-Com frequencies.." he says but.. yeah he sort of has to agree with the billionaire playboy philanthropist smartass knowitall.. At least Hank /has/ a doctorate (or three) under his belt. "You can provide the white house with missile proof windows but didn't offer to reinforce the structure itself to begin with? Sloppy, Anthony, Sloppy..."

He frowns then as he can feel the building, or at least the part he is in, shift again. "But... you may have a point my famously ferrous friend." he says, then glares at Dane who is also giving him a dressing down. "First off, don't you DARE infer to the ability to use star wars technology at a time like this. Second, Magneto didn't DO THIS!" he says, and is unable to believe he just said that. "I think.. I think he may have been trying to /stop/ it..."

The floor shifts again and Hank looks down at Claire who is professing her innocence. "Ma'am... If you were indeed under the influence of a telepath we will find out." Instead of allowing her to stand he decides that he may have to risk... "But until that time, you /are/ under arrest... and we must evacuate.." And he attempts put her over his shoulder and get on the back of that.. Pegasus *shudder*

Black Knight has posed:
The horse regards Hank with great disdain. It snorts at him, but takes the first lady out into safety. They are followed by the Tweed clad erstwhile night who drags a final man free of the building. "Get out, Tony." He says into the coms, feeling sick."Other than Stark, I could not see anyone else."

Magneto has posed:
Erik keeps the electro-magnetic feild about himself even as he turns towards the fence and marches that way in front of Natasha, even going so far as to open the fence with his abilities and walks through towards the Quinjet that Natasha had mentioned. He would fry the device on his neck, but he knows the woman is tricky via word of mouth and knows it might go off when it's hit with any outside influence. Then Natasha takes it off and he nods weakly, "Thank you. I appreciate that." He retorts.

Iron Man has posed:
Tony Stark takes the time to look back one more time. He tries to keep an eye out and then he slowly drifts downwards, letting the roof 'settle' as it were, which is a nice way of saying he lets it go fall slowly versus just come tumbling down. It's possible some of it may balance precariously as it's eased down but yeah, some of it is going to go a-toppling towards the ground. He flies down and hits something to open up the helmet of his suit and breathes heavily, letting in the cooler DC winter air as compared to the heat of the rest of it. He watches Nat walking Erik towards the Quinjet and he has no part of that. The suit may be made of non-metal but you know what is metal? Components in an Arc Reactor. So yeah...he'll stay a distance away from the metal guy and follow the jet towards wherever SHIELD decides to take the current...guest.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker is watching from an isolated place. His eyes burning with rage and hatred for what Magneto has done. Much more could have been accomplished by simply setting the car on the white house lawn, and leveling the charges in a diplomatic way. The Last thing Wesker wants is for him to be Martyred. No the last thing the world needs is that. And as such Natasha might catch a glimpse of Wesker, in the distance, hand on his gun. With his abilities he could take Magneto out, but instead makes sure that no one else will.

Superwoman has posed:
Elsewhere, Faora was quiet. All around her was the peace of mountain valleys no man could ever reach- somewhere, hidden in the most rugged of terrains, Superwoman took a slow, deep breath. "These primates are completely fucking insane."

The silver haired man steps onto the metro train and looks at the phone in his pocket with a soft sigh. Erik rereads the text and rewatches the attachment that was sent to him. The older man sits down and sighs softly to himself before as the train moves on towards the next station in line. The trip to Washington DC was a chore, but a necessary move for the man to make.

Magneto seeks justice, not only for a single mutant, but also for an entire community, a race, his race. Too many mutants have been not only used by humans to achieve their goals in business, but now there is proof that a mutant was killed by a man in order to keep his position secured. This is not something the old man will abide.

As the train pulls into the next station, the handholds and the support beams suddenly begin to shift and move to push everyone else out but the old man sitting in the front car and prevents anyone else access to the public transport. Next the car unhooks and starts to move down the tracks on it's own. The conductor is doing everything he can to prevent this, but he is encased in a metallic shell and moved from the control room of the train car and spit up out on the landing along with the rest of the passengers.

Erik stands up, and with a motion of his hand, a piece metal floats through the air and rests in his hand, reforming into a familiar shape. The master of magnetism lifts his re-made helmet up and onto his head, obscuring his face and his thoughts with a smirk as the car smashes through the concrete and is birthed out of the ground in order to fly through the air like a brick does not.

The silver and red metal train car continues up into the air until the whole thing is seventy five feet up in the air and moving between the buildings on the path towards 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
