| Usually he carries a heavy black cannon upon his right forearm that is ten feet in length and with a three foot wide barrel. His armor is currently tarnished, with pock marks and blasted burn marks across the torso, though no visible damage.

| |History=Megatron of Tarn was constructed cold into a function form of a miner. He began his life obligated to the steady labor of his birthright, not having seen the surface of his home planet Cybertron for the first several thousand years of his existence. But he was what came to be known as amongst the Cybertronians as an Outlier. An Outlier, or a .1 percenter (though it's really more .001 percenter), is a Cybertronian that is gifted with abilities beyond the norm. For Megatron some of these did not manifest until later in life, but what he was gifted with to begin with was an amazing intellect and an always questing search for knowledge both inward and outward.

| He began to examine the caste society he was a part of and quickly realized the inequality that was simply accepted by the ruling class. He was able to then put his thoughts and findings into words that were both eloquent and compelling so that he gained fame for writing strong indictments of the government and of the Functionist faction. So strong that they decided he had to be done away with.

| At first Megatron was merely taken into custody and beaten severely. Then when the officers realized who they had, they received word from higher ups in the peace-keeping forces of Cybertron that he was to have an accident while in custody. He was, however, able to escape with the aid of some sympathetic to his cause. He returned to his job mining and for a time laid low. Until the mine was shut down and most of his comrades were going to be decommissioned, relocated, or allowed to run out of energon and die. When the miners protested this, the guards opened fire with lethal force. Many miners died, but Megatron led a revolt that saw them victorious. The survivors fled into Cybertron's underground.

| It was while in the underground that Megatron turned his efforts to one of the few things he felt he was good at beyond using his mind. He became a gladiator in repeated pop up blood sport battles, training and growing stronger. He gathered to him the strongest, the disenfranchised, the angry, the downtrodden. And once he had gained enough fame, once he had forged a warrior ethos from the battles in the arena, he was able to take his people and begin the revolt that was needed for Cybertron.

| They called themselves the Decepticons, for their motto was, 'You are being deceived.' As the Cybertronian Senate controlled the people and lied to them about the state of matters in an effort to control them. But Megatron told people the truth, and they flocked to his banner. Until, eventually, the Decepticons in a surgical strike that was perfectly timed and coordinated were able to assassinate most of the senate while they were in session. No footage was attained of this act, no sign of its passing. One moment the senate was in session, the next, corpses.

| Afterwards the revolution spread across the world. Megatron was responsible for the death of two primes, and it seemed as if they would be able to defeat the senate forces and create a society where all were equals. If it were not for one bot. Optimus Prime.

| Prime rallied the people, and was able to battle the Decepticons to a stand still. And for four million years they would battle each other. Their war would spread across their galaxy. At first it was confined to their worlds. But then when Megatron tried to establish a colony and negotiated peace with several organic cultures, the organic cultures turned and destroyed the colony, leaving no survivors. Since then Megatron has had little trust and much anger towards organic beings. But in his point of view, rightfully so.

| The war raged, until two hundred years ago, in pursuit of Oprimus Prime, his ship the Nemesis crashed on Earth and there they had lain until recently.

| |Personality=At his core, Megatron is a deeply thoughtful introspective individual. He is strong in his beliefs, utterly sure of his convictions. Socially in the past, he was a bit too serious for most, and his outlook had almost always been severe.

| But that is not the Megatron most know. Megatron, who leads the Decepticons, must lead by example. He knows he leads a band of cutthroats, fanatics, psychopaths, sadists, and battle mad soldiers. When amongst them he is loud, vicious, stern. He knows that he is the inspiration, the focus of the Decepticon ideal, and he has wholly adopted it.
