Tyran'tar's story begins long ago. Born the son of a military general and the quartermaster in the military, Tyran'tar has grew up in the Tamaranean military. Being trained from a young age as soon as he was able to understand it, he had a strict upbringing, and he often put himself into danger to impress his mother and father. While they berated him for doing such foolish stunts, it was clear the boy's bravery was without question. Joining the military at a young age, he was trained in hand to hand combat, weaponry, marksmanship and explosives training. Always willing to stick up for his fellow soldiers, this made him popular in the squad, never afraid to put himself in danger to keep his men safe. As time progressed, the training became actual battlefield experience against the psions and the Citadel.

While he lead successful campaigns against the enemy, the enemy would overcome Tamaran's defenses thanks to Blackfire's aid and thus Tamaran was conquered by their enemies. Reduced to an agricultural existence, the proud warrior culture Tyran'tar grew up with would be abandoned. While a military was needed to keep the peace and defend the world from invaders, the warrior customs they once had were forbidden lest they spark another war with the Citadel. It was this that Tyran'tar took to the stars with his own ship, serving as a mercenary in the sector. Fate however would change Tyran'tar's destiny to something else as a Green Lantern was trying to break a blockade on a defenseless world. Seeing the man trying to protect those weaker then himself, Tyran'tar would come to the Lantern's aid and fought against the would be invaders.

When the battle was done, the Lantern had succumbed to his wounds and he relinquished his ring to the worthy successor: Tyran'tar. Being accepted by the ring however didn't mean that he was a Lantern. Put through intensive bootcamp based training in the Green Lantern Corps, Tyran'tar would pass the trials and become a powerful Green Lantern in his own right. Now assigned to sector 2828, he hopes to bring honor to the Corps and serve the Tamaranean military as well. He will not abandon his people.

Tyran'tar's personality seems pretty basic at first: A thrill seeker and a warrior, with military mannerisms. However as time goes on it is clear that he cares for those who serve under him, and is willing to put his life at danger for his men and women. While he doesn't approve of Blackfire becoming monarch by betraying his people, he will not disobey her orders out of duty for his home world.

Description
Description:
He wears green armbands and green necklace with the Green Lantern symbol on it. His chest is bare and he wears black leggings with green boots. On his finger was a Green Lantern ring.
History
History:

Hand To Hand:
Tyran'tar was trained from an incredibly young age to fight and he has spent most of his life in combat. He knows various martial arts native to Tamaran as well as a few alien martial arts thanks to the Green Lantern Corps. This has made him a decent combatant against races of even footing with him.
Leadership:
The burdens of leadership aren't strangers to Tyran'tar. He has never left a man behind and he has done his best to get through his missions with his men alive and well. This has made him a strong military leader to his people, and trusted in the Tamaranean military. In short he will lead them to the best of his abilities.
Marksmanship:
From slug throwers, to blasters, to bow and arrows and spears, if it is a ranged weapon, Tyran'tar can use it. Trained from a young age to use whatever tech was on hand, He has become a proficient fighter. Time served in the military has only improved his list of proficient weaponry. Access to a power ring gives the man the ability to make any weapon he desires.
Tactics:
Tyran'tar achieved an officers rank thanks to his hard work and his father being one of the many generals. As such the man was trained in combat tactics and can lead any group of forces into any conflict. Add in the fact the ring also provides alien tactics which may be superior to his own and the man may as well be one of the greatest military minds in the galaxy.
Weaponry:
Resources
Green Lantern Corp:
Tyran'tar not only has the military of his homeworld to rely on, but he has the entirety of the Green Lantern Corps. This means he will come to help other Lanterns of other sectors and he has the resources of the Lantern Corps to do whatever needs to be done to keep the peace. This also means he has access to the vast knowledge of the Book of Oa, and the cells to put criminals into. In short the Corps has his back and he has their back.
Ring Encyclopedia:
The ring is more then just a weapon. It is also a supercomputer with an advanced AI. It has all the knowledge of the Book of Oa in it as well as other information resources like scan local computer networks. It's AI is responsive to questions and will provide quick answer.
The ring is also able to translate almost every known language back and forth, including the written word, to facilitate communications with a diverse group of aliens. One of the few exceptions is the language of the indigo tribe.
The ring has been used by a great deal of past Lanterns and as such It has access to the memories of the past Lanterns which can be used to help solve problems.
The Fearless:
The Fearless is an old Tamaranean spaceship. Originally designed for war and armed with weaponry, the weapons has been removed except for basic defense weapons and retrofitted into a freighter/cruiser. The ship was one of the few ships which Tyran'tar was able to keep before his people became an agricultural people. It is his main base and where he and those who fight with him, protects the Tamaranean people from threats.
The Resistance:
Weaknesses
Energy Dependence:
All of Tyran'tar's natural powers rely on ultra violet solar radiation. Without it he can't fly and has no healing factor or super strength.
Hunted:
Tyran'tar refused to go after Starfire and was supposed to be executed as a traitor to tamaran. His green lantern ring kept him from being executed and as such is hunted by the tamaranean authorities. He also has a bounty on his head, while not as big as starfire's it is still a sizable bounty.
Mental Instability:
Drug use, neural interference, vertigo or other forms of mental incapacitation can render the wearer unable to use their ring.
Psychic Backlash:
If a construct gets destroyed, or a force field overpowered, it creates a psychic backlash back on the will of the user, causing disorientation and weakness. It is these brief moments where a Lantern can be overpowered other then waiting for their ring to run out of energy.
Rage Vulnerability:
The red light of rage can corrupt the aura of a Green Lantern, draining their ring of power. This is dependent on the Green Lantern's ability to Understand, accept and control their rage.
Ring Recharge:
The ring needs to be recharged once every 24 hours, or when the charge is depleted. This means that if Tyran'tar doesn't keep his ring charged, then it will power down and be useless until it is charged. The amount of time to charge the ring is the length of time it takes to say the Green Lantern oath, and thus can be interrupted. It is at this time the lantern is most vulnerable. He also has to recharge his ring at the power battery assigned to him, or in the central battery on Oa.
