Born of one of three sisters, her destiny has been marked as a Charmed One; having the Power of Three alongside her two sisters, Pru and Phoebe. While gaining her power a little late, her life has been an explosion of interesting ever since. She's become more comfortable in being a witch and a Charmed One, even striking out on her own to opening the successful club of P3 that she still currently owns and operates. Between fighting evil, saving innocents and being a Club Owner, she's a pretty busy gal.

Description:

Piper stands of medium height and a fit, lithe form for her age- staying active and taking care of herself. Her brown hair is long, falling to mid-back, being fairly straight and well kept. She has a very light tan, not shy of the sun but not overdoing it, either. Soft chocolate eyes reflect the caring of her and warmth of her heart, but can harden just as easily. Her make-up is rather simple in earthy, natural tones and kept very light.

She is dressed simply, a black casual, but nice top that has a square neck that hints to just a little cleavage. The sleeves hug her arms to her elbows before dropping in bell sleeves to add an elegance. Fitted jeans and slightly heeled boots finish her look.

History:

Piper was born on August 7, 1997 to Patty Halliwell and Victor Bennett. Out of her sisters, Pru and Phoebe, she is the middle one. After the birth of the youngest, Phoebe, Grams bound their powers- Piper's being that of Molecular Immobilization. It was to keep them safe as they grew up as the three sister witches were born as the Charmed Ones. Those with the ability of the power of three and very strong when together. While Piper was aware of her powers while she was young, after they were bound, her memories of magic were also erased- thus giving her a normal childhood while growing up.

Piper's teenage years were a little uncomfortable. She didn't know how or where she fit in, but with Gram's reassurance, she was comforted in her nuturing, kind and caring nature. She always felt.. off, from her sisters. Bland in comparison to them. Eventually graduating from Baker High School, she remained at home while she went to college to become an accountant at a bank- though her biggest dream was to become a Chef.

It wasn't until Phoebe came home from New York that they discovered... a whole new world. Phoebe found the Book of Shadows in the attic and awakened the powers of the sisters. She was resistant to the idea, finding it a little ludricris, but after accidentally freezing Chef Moore in an interview (and adding the port he didn't give her time for), she finally believed.

She was in a lot of turmoil at first. She didn't want to accept it- believing witches to be evil, even consulting a priest about 'trying to help a friend with a problem' and asking him if they were even allowed in the House of God. She was scared that being a witch made her a bad person. Eventually (after several tries), she gained the courage to step into the church and... it was heart opening. She wasn't struck down by lightning. She was good. She can do this.

Her sisters easily became targets of warlocks and demons after they were awakened and they had to learn fast about their craft. Piper herself, being a rather accomplished Chef after some time, became a master at potions. After quitting her job at Quake, she decided to open her own place: P3. It was a rough start, with Pru's help it worked out of the red and at least broke even, and eventually... gained a reputation. Its since been very busy, and as a steady source of income for her sisters, Piper takes very good care of running it.

Personality:

Piper is a bit of a complex person- more than people will give her credit for. Out of her sisters, she is the most maternal, though much like her sisters, she is quick to give aid to those that need it. Just the same, she can be rather cautious when it comes to letting people close, and her secret of being a witch can be frustrating. She is a believer of being good and following the rules, the fact they have to be bent sometimes to allow her and her sisters to continue on under the radar bothers her- like freezing a room to hide evidence that might throw them in jail because people wouldn't understand how they have to get involved in some things. Double life, as it were, but she makes it work.

Book of Shadows:
The Book of Shadows is a powerful book kept in the Halliwell Manor. It cannot leave the manor unless by their hand, and anyone attempting to remove it will fail- as the book is bound there by magic. Inside is a compendium of several spells and potion recipes such as demonic vanquishing or summoning spells. It also has a lot of lore and information about demons that has been collected throughout the Halliwell generations making it a key item of knowledge and power among the sisters as a guide and help.

Mediumship:
Being a witch and Charmed One, she has the natural ability to be able to see and communicate with spirits.

Molecular Combustion:
Piper is able to affect molecules the opposite way as well. Speeding them up to explode. Lower-Level demons, etc, she is able to blow them up to vanquish them, but not quite upper-level Demons yet. This can be seen in speeding up molecules to the point of setting some objects on fire or 'blowing them up' in a sense. While she can use it on command, it can still be an anger response at times.

Molecular Immobilization:
Piper has the charmed ability to slow down molecules to the point that they freeze. This generally works on most objects and normally on people. The strength of the person if they are powered depends on if it holds or if they can fight through it... or if it works at all. Her power does not work on other witches. She is able to freeze a room for a few minutes and can selectively unfreeze people or body parts (such as a head of a frozen foe).

Potion Making:
Piper is an accomplished Chef and has a love and skill for cooking, but among her sisters, Piper's specialty as a witch is potion making. Having a natural affinity for it, she can concoct potions more efficiently as well as discover new ones at times.

Power of Three:
When casting spells and working in tandem with her sisters, the Power of Three enhances their powers when used together. This allows them to defeat much stronger foes together than they would be unable to on their own.

Scrying:

Using a scrying crystal and a map (sometimes other small tools as necessary, such as a focus- an item belonging to person she is looking for); she has the natural ability as a witch to be able to scry for a location of a person. If the person is powered, she may have difficulty, depending on their power and if they would be resistant to being located.

Cooking:
Despite having gone to school for Accounting, she is a natural chef of a high level. She has a passion and love for cooking and enjoys doing meals for loved ones.

Demonology:
Having access to the Book of Shadows, she is versed in many demonic lores. Those that she doesn't know, she can generally find.

Witchcraft:

Having been born a witch, she has the natural affinity for potions, writing and casting spells, sensing things that might be a little 'off' - like spiritual presences.

Book of Shadows:
This book belongs to her and her sisters and is full of all kinds of information- from demonic weaknesses, lore, vanquishing spells, potions, love spells, truth spells, find lost things, summoning... Just about anything.

Charmed One:
Being a Charmed One is as much a resource as it can be a liability sometimes. Though having the Power of Three to fall back on is a wonderful thing in a tight spot.

P3:

P3 is a Club owned and managed by Piper. The source of income is a huge help, as well as the few employees that work for her that help keep it going if she has to 'run off all of a sudden' to 'take care of an emergency'.

Demon Magnet:
After gaining her powers, she became a 'danger' magnet, but most dominantly a 'demon magnet'. The darker powers all covet the Power of Three and more often than not are trying to kill the sisters and/or steal their powers. It makes... their lives continually interrupted and... interesting.

Missing Normality:
She grew up as a normal kid. Went through the awkward high school phase. Dated. And then became a witch. Her boyfriend turned out to be a demon. There are times that she really misses the normal life, and when opportunities and temptations to go back to that arise, they can be difficult for her to resist at times. Very difficult.

Sisters:

While she will put herself in harms way for an innocent, her sisters can be used against her. Her weakness and Achilles heel; she won't let harm come to them if she can help it.
