• National Defense: The Wakandan Army is the country's main ground forces, while the Wakandan Navy oversees naval operations. The Wakandan Air Guard is the nation's air force, which includes pilots wearing powerful suits of combat armour. Specialised forces include the Panther Guard, Hatut Zeraze, and Dora Milaje.
• International Relations: Member of the African Union; Pan-African Congress on the Treatment of Metahumans; United Nations (U.N.); United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (U.N.E.S.C.O.); and World Trade Organisation (W.T.O.). Wakanda has provided significant technological support to the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Justice League, S.H.I.E.L.D., and the X-Men. Although Wakanda has never officially gone to war, its relationships with Atlantis-Tha-Korr, Canada, Genosha, Kenya, Latveria, and the United States is often tense. Wakanda's closest allies include Attilan, France, the Savage Land, South Africa, and the United Kingdom; their former neighbour Kwarrai was absorbed into the country.

• History: Wakanda is a small nation in North East Africa. For centuries, invaders have come to Wakanda, ranging from the Roman Empire, to the Knights Templar, and even the armies of Hell. Each time a force came for their sound and energy absorbing mineral, which is today known as Vibranium, the Wakandans would beat them back using the deadliest of force. Only one survivor was left alive, in order to tell the tale, as is Wakandan custom. Despite their isolation, they are considered the most technologically advanced nation of Earth.
