Profile

One of (at least) 5 teenaged victims of either a rogue intelligence agency or group of bored plutocrats (it ... depends on who you ask, okay?), Caitlin Fairchild arguably got the best deal of the lot - in a heartbeat she went from being Blah to being Bangin', and now sports shocking post-human strength and endurance to go along with shocking good looks. She's basically still the same person, but now she hits robots so hard they break and occasionally gets punched so hard she flies across town.

She also gets to keep her teammates from killing each other, and to hide her sister's cigarettes. On the whole, maybe never getting a date wasn't the worst fate.

One time she got hit so hard she thought she was Supergirl. Nobody likes to talk about that.

Description

Caitlin Fairchild is remarkably tall for a woman, standing as she does at nearly six and a half feet - but it's not her height that exerts so irresistible a pull over the gaze of others: it's everything else. In the crudest sort of vernacular, Caitlin is an Amazonian mega-babe - she's unerringly and almost annoyingly beautiful, her gently-tanned skin smoother than marble, her hair like the richest silk and her features so flawlessly symmetrical it almost seems unnatural.

And to make matters just a million times worse, she's that rarest sort of beauty that doesn't seem to fully comprehend just how gorgeous she is - which makes her even more compelling (or even more annoying, depending on your perspective) for the fact she lacks even the smallest hint of narcissism.

Brilliant, orange-red hair that shines like copper in the sun descends in a perfect wave to just below Caitlin's shoulders and, in front, frames a face that's absolutely nothing short of exquisite - her bangs are grown long, ending just above the thin and expressive arches of her brows. Her face is something between a box and a triangle, but remains overwhelmingly feminine with high cheekbones and a rounded chin; the line of her jaw is strong for a woman, however, her chin broad. Her features seem to speak of Scandinavian descent. Caitlin's eyes are an absolutely stunning shade of emerald green, with the smallest flecks of amber scattered throughout; her lashes are long and thick without mascara, and she wears no shadow or liner.

Caitlin's lips are a full and remarkable rubina, lower a touch thicker than the higher; she appears to paint them with a wet-looking gloss in a natural shade of pink, giving the impression that they've always just been wetted. If Caitlin ever had piercings, they've closed to completely that no trace can be found - it appears that even her ears are untouched.

Leather, polished to a high shine in green and dark purple, is the rule of the day. Caitlin's remarkable form is outfitted in a clinging-but-concealing leotard (unmistakably the sort of thing that /only/ a super-heroine would dare to put on) that makes the powerful musculature of her body difficult to ignore.

High-necked, it conceals Caitlin's entire throat - thick straps of purple leather wrap around, thick snap-closures of green resting at the front. Her shoulders are strikingly broad for a woman, and powerful; her costume's full-length sleeves stretch taut against the flawless musculature of Caitlin's thick arms, deltoids, triceps and biceps all pressed out with inhuman strength. Her hands are bare; her nails are left unpainted. At Caitlin's left shoulder is a zipper, its line cast in purple and running down the front of her body; the costume plainly showcases the statuesque redhead's (let's be honest) enormous breasts, following the curves at their sides and bottom and pulled tight across them.

Caitlin's waist is not especially narrow - her abdomen is too rigid for that, obliques honed and plainly displayed; her stomach is flat, more eight- and six-pack. That she seems shapely has more to do with contrast - the size of her breasts and the flair of her hips. Those, at least, are quite nice - smooth and rounded despite Caitlin's strength, her smooth skin bared by dint of the fact the high arch of her costume leaves her legs entirely bared. Her butt is shapely and solid, and mostly bared by the cut of her costume; her legs are long even for her height, thighs sculpted (a strap of leather buckled around one of them) and calves tight.

She wears mid-calf boots - thick, purple leather with green highlights, with zippers up their sides and buckles secured around them to ensure the tightest possible fit.

History

A brilliant but profoundly unpopular and socially awkward girl raised by her aunt and uncle following the apparent death of her parents, Caitlin Fairchild excelled at everything she did as long as it didn't involve sports or making friends. Nabbing a full scholarship to Princeton University and pursuing majors in computer science and electrical engineering (She got those at 16) as well as general science, genetics and chemistry Caitlin was recruited by N.O.W.H.E.R.E. For 'Project Genesis' - what she believed to be a government Dream Job, but what was in actuality the latest in a long series of attempts by rogue assets within the intelligence community to create weaponized super-humans.

While there she worked on the first phase of the Project Dubbed Genesis where they formed Clones and Human Kryptonian Hybrids of Superman. But she didn't know this was the second time they did this.

She was also working on the second phase of the project developing a serum that would allow ordinary people to Also have Kryptonian DNA grafted on, Of course, she quickly found out the formula was prone to wild crazy mutations and told the company to scrap it. Instead, she Was injected with the serum as well as several other Young adults turning her from a short, mousy, flat-chested girl into a huge, muscle-bound glamazon mega-babe. Aided in the ensuing escape attempt by a well-timed raid at the hands of legitimizing government forces, Caitlin and a group of her friends - dubbed "Gen13" by the program - managed to flee.

Having made their way across the country (and, naturally, had an endless string of impossible adventures) they now find themselves in New York City.

Personality

Caitlin is horribly, viciously, stultifying ... nice.

It's the thing people tend to dislike most about her, really. She's brilliant, she's powerful, she's gorgeous - it'd just be easier to deal with her if she were a little bitchy, at least. But she isn't. She's optimistic, she's pleasant, she rarely even uses profanity, and she can be a bit naïve at times - but life experience is slowly weening her of THAT trait, dangerous as it can be for a superhuman.

Having spent most of her life as a dour, picked-upon little bookworm with zero social life, even after finding herself 6'4", super-powered and body a body to die for there's still a (slowly shrinking, but still present) core of learned helplessness and low self-esteem. For the most part, she manages to work past it - as the (by default) most adult, she HAS to, after all, to keep her friends functioning together, and readily falls into the role of leader/mother hen.

It's not as bad as it used to be, thanks to the friends she's managed to make, but she still tends to miss social cues fairly often - and she *never* realizes when someone is hitting on her. She can see herself in the mirror, sure, but the idea is just *so* alien to her.

Abilities

GENIUS
For reasons owing to nothing more than genetic luck of the draw and an upbringing that encouraged intellectual pursuit, Caitlin possesses a level of intelligence placed at the upper echelons of 'genius'. She has an intuitive grasp of concepts most find incomprehensible, is an easy natural at virtually any academic pursuit, and finds the acquisition of new languages to be a simple thing - to give only a few examples.

GLAMAZON MEGABABE
Caitlin got more than just super-human strength, agility and invulnerability when her powers activated: she also got a complete makeover. From geek to Glamazon, Caitlin is now an (incredibly annoyingly, to her sister) astonishingly beautiful young woman - she's tall, with perfect hair and perfect skin, a muscular but feminine build and curves it has been proven under the most rigorous scientific conditions Do Not Quit.

INVULNERABILITY
The profoundly post-human density of Caitlin's muscle fiber grants her super-human strength - and along with the profoundly post-human/Kryptonian density of virtually every OTHER example of organic tissue in her body also with a touch of force field, grants her a truly astonishing level of resilience to injuries that could cripple even other super-humans. Throw her off the roof of a skyscraper, riddle her with bullets, set her on fire, throw her in a vat of acid and toss her through a corridor of laser-plasma-whatever beams and she'll still be doing just fine. Her clothes, not so much seem the force field is only skin level - but she couldn't be Caitlin if every adventure didn't require at LEAST three costumes.

POST-HUMAN AGILITY
Despite the density of her form (and the increased mass that goes with it), Caitlin is not the stereotypical bruiser: in fact, she possesses a reaction time that far outstrips that of a normal human being. In addition, she has proven herself capable of striking acts of dexterity and acrobatics that exceed even those of an Olympic athlete those of a normal human - perhaps because of enhancements to her nervous system, perhaps for other reasons, the indisputable fact is that for a girl her size, Caitlin moves *very* quickly.

She *cannot*, however, run at 'super-speed'. She simply acts and reacts on a level far beyond the capabilities of a normal human - she has, at least once, managed to catch a bullet before it reached its target.

STAMINA
That Caitlin possesses post-human levels of stamina and endurance should come as no great surprise - she'd /have/ to, given the physical alterations induced when her metahuman abilities activated. Operating at peak potential, Caitlin can function for some three days without requiring rest or sleep - longer than that, and her performance would begin the marked degredation expected from sleep deprivation. Despite her level of stamina, Caitlin pushes herself in this capacity only in the rarest of circumstances - otherwise, she operates on a functionally normal, human schedule.

SUPER STRENGTH
The moment that Caitlin's genetic potential was unleashed her body underwent a series of dramatic changes - chief among them, a major expansion of muscle fiber and a profound increase in the density thereof. It's responsible for all of Caitlin's powers - and by far, the most remarkable of those is her supremely post-human level of strength. Even *without* the sort of training that most super-humans experience, Caitlin possesses near-Kryptonian levels of power - she's capable of juggling train engines, of bending unbendable metals, of lifting fully-loaded passenger jets, all while looking /annoyingly/ great. What's more, it seems she is slowly getting stronger and has the potential with training to go farther.

WILLPOWER

Between the experiences she endured at the hands of her captors in the program that activated her genetic potential and her experience keeping the disparate personalities of Gen13 functioning together, Caitlin has developed a remarkable degree of willpower.

Skills

HtH (Advanced)
As a Member of N.O.W.H.E.R.E She received extensive anti-Meta Hand to hand training, while terrible at it those lessons along with those thanks to her smarts she remembers every detail. Thanks to extensive training and actual combat experience while with Gen-13, Fairchild is a formidable hand-to-hand fighter; and has also learned how to use her great strength and other superhuman physical abilities to her advantage in battle.

LEADERSHIP
Caitlin stumbled into a role as leader of her motely band of misfits, but it's a role she's proven extremely adept at - she's a thoroughly competent leader, able to convince a group of teenagers and young adults to not only avoid killing one another but to accomplish actual /goals/.

P.H.D.
Caitlin is a genius Super genius in some ways. She managed to get a P.H.D in Computer science and electrical engineering all before she was 16. By the time she left school she had Degree's in general science, genetics, and chemistry, as well as a minor in psychology.

SUPERFAN
Caitlin knows an embarrassingly comprehensive amount about superheroes - especially the ones who have an S on their capes. Since she was part of a science group that also grew their own Kryptonian/Human hybrid, as well as developed a drug that did the same to herself and some others who were all descendants of failed super soldier programs. Her knowledge of Kryptonian Biology is extensive. She also has a super crush.

WELL EDUCATED

Having attended (if not to completion) Princeton University on a full scholarship, and having spent the brunt of her life as a nerd, Caitlin possesses an absolutely enormous degree of - let's call it Book Smarts. History, biology, sociology, politics, philosophy, economics, linguistics - you name it, and Caitlin is eager to get in a conversation with you that will prove how much smarter she is without ever actually meaning to. She's also fluent in several different languages.

Resources

GEN13
Caitlin is the defacto leader of Gen13, a group of (mostly) teenagers possessed of remarkable metahuman capabilities. They have no base, no resources, no particular wellspring of good well - but they're friends, and can count on one another. Which is good, because most of them live in the same room in a long-term residency hotel in one of New York City's worst neighborhoods.

TEAM 7

Caitlin (and Roxanne's) father, Alex Fairchild, was a respected member of Team 7. Although she hasn't seen him in years, his fellows still remember him and are willing to help out his daughter when they're able. Since they are often still in the covert anti-metahuman operations business, that assistance can be helpful indeed.

Weaknesses

BRICK HOUSE
It's hardly polite to ask a girl's weight, but the truth is that Caitlin weighs in excess of three hundred pounds - an unavoidable consequence of how her powers function. It's difficult to move her when she's unconscious (which happens, like, a LOT), and there are an endless list of little annoyances in every day life - the world wasn't really designed with ultra-dense glamazons in mind, after all, so chairs and cars and elevators can at times be problematic.

GLAMAZON'S CURSE
Caitlin ... doesn't blend in. She's 6'4" of muscle, beauty and boobs - she sticks out in a crowd, she's very memorable, and only the blindest of the blind would have a difficult time describing her appearance to anyone who should happen to be looking for her.

Poor Caitlin. Boo hoo. Isn't it so hard to be her.

MAJOR INVESTMENT
Caitlin - and her friends - are the product of countless years and billions of dollars worth of research and *highly* illegal experimentation by elements within the intelligence community.

Not the kind of thing that just gets away without ever hearing from them again.

NO ID
Every item of identification Caitlin owns - in fact, every piece in existence - shows her as being a short, rail-thin brunette in glasses, the sort of girl it was understandable had never had a date. Given that Caitlin is now well over six feet tall and drop dead gorgeous, the difficulty is obvious: she's forced to essentially live off-grid, dealing primarily in cash and relying on her size and ... uh, dimensions ... to get her into places that normally require ID.

THE CLOTHING THING
Plenty of ultra-tough, ultra-strong post-humans enjoy some sort of forcefield or at least have the sort of outfit that can stand up to getting shot, burned or hit with a fire engine. Not Caitlin - she's just invulnerable, and her costumes tend to be made of prosaic materials like latex, spandex or leather. Which means they get torn up a /lot/. Thankfully, they somehow never manage to get so torn apart they'd push footage of her in a fight past PG-13 - a mystery for the ages indeed.

UNIQUE PHYSIOLOGY

Despite the radically altered nature of Caitlin's physiology it's a Result of gene therapy ( That she helped invent ) That would allow somebody to bond Kryptonian DNA to their own, Except the formula, wasn't perfected and Prone to causing Variations. While she got a lot of the Kryptonian powers, she didn't get all of them, What's more, Kryptonite Will make her woozy and have different strange effects. She can still be knocked out with gas or a mighty punch.
