Sabrina is a teenage witch! She lives in the odd little town of Riverdale, in Canada. She pops all over the place, however, and it is not unusual for the girl to be found at a coffee shop in New York, or shopping in Gotham or Seattle. She is a young girl who is often dealing with the kinds of problems a young girl tends to deal with...on top of the issues that come with being a powerful witch who is still learning! Also, she has a talking cat. He's cool, but also kind of a jerk.

Description:

This girl looks to be somewhere between sixteen to eighteen years old. She couldn't be much older than that, at least. She is 157 cm, and she is slender with enough curves to be considered quite cute, without getting anywhere near 'hourglass'. Her hair is blonde and cut to fall just past her chin. She has a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks, and she has pale blue eyes, a button nose and soft, full lips. She's quite the looker, in her own way.

She tends towards modern styles for a kid her age. Converse are common, or pink boots with drawings all over them. Skinny jeans and various t-shirts are also the usual, with hoodies or cute jackets. Sometimes she tends towards sundresses or similar, or jumpers.

History

History:
Sabrina was raised mostly by her aunts, Zelda and Gilda, due to her parents dying when she was young. Her father was a powerful witch (Or warlock or wizard, depending on who you ask), while her mom was a mortal. It's a big no-no to date outside of your kind to many in the with subsect of the magical world. A few extremists target the Spellman family, and Sabrina was secreted out before her parents were slain. She grew up in Greendale, a town with a lot of magical and supernatural occurrences. These helped shield her existence from other extremists out there who specifically wanted her dead.

She has lived a pretty normal life (For a Witch). She attends school and learns mundane knowledge and magical lore and spellcasting, and gets into all sorts of shenanigans with her cat familiar, Salem. She's begun heading down into the States more and more often, and has become more curious about the Superheroing going on down there.

History 2:

That was her life until her 18th birthday and she found out the truth. See a witch has to choose Light or dark it's a personal declaration of what side of the balance you're going to keep. But it's also when it was revealed one her mom she wasn't dead in fact she's a wanted criminal, a black witch of the highest order who consorts and deals with demons and devils. In fact she took a General of Hell, and One of the Princes of darkness trying to take the throne. To add a cherry to that top now also her father.

Thanks to the love and affection of her aunts...her normal upbringing, while she did sink into darkness, she came out and chose the light. But now she's going out in the world to find herself to come to grips with her life and who she is.

Personality:

Sabrina is a kid. She has the wants and needs of a kid, and hasn't grown fully into responsibility yet. She has empathy, and she really cares about the people around her...but she can be impulsive, and often thinks with her hear instead of her head. When hurt she can be spiteful or bitter, but she tends to be hopeful and sweet. Still, she is a person, and that means she is not perfect.

Alchemy:
Eye of newt and toe of frog! She can mix all kinds of things to create potions, lotions and various salves. They have a wide array of effects. Love potions, healing draughts, potions of illusion or flight or whatever. If she can cast a spell for it, she can also likely make a potion for it. She tends to carry a few potions on her, or ingredients for quick mixes, at most times.

Blessings:
Much like with Curses, Sabrina can effect the outcomes of things. Using this for herself tends to lead to bad news, however. She can make somebody better at a skill (Such as becoming an amazing singer or combatant), or help somebody win a contest, etc. Generally these spells come with some kind of consequences, but never full on Deal With the Devil level. Her aunts use this kind of stuff all the time to make their lives easy, but she tries to hold back.

Combat Magic:
She might not really be able to swing a punch or a sword, but she can blast somebody to kingdom come. She can manifest various forms of attack, from cobbling together text books into a golem to smite her foes, to flying swords, to fireballs. This allows her to be quite useful in the fray.

Conjuring:
Sabrina can use her magic to summon and bind various creatures. She can deal with spirits, elementals, ghosts and various dimensional creatures. This always involves rituals, even if short ones. When a conjuring or binding goes wrong, it can mean the creature is let loose upon the world. She can also use this magic to do the reverse, and banish otherworldly beings using incantations.

Counter Magic:
All of the things she can do, she can undo. If it is a spell that goes awry it can be a lot harder to undo, however. She can unweave other spells as well, though the more powerful the magician, the harder they are to undo.

Curses:
You never want to piss of a witch. She can curse people! She can make someone blind, or make it so good people turn them away, or that all birds poop on them. Whatever. She can get pretty creative with this one, too! Want to find out what it is like to have your voice break every time you speak of you're a singer? Didn't think so!

Dimensional Travel:
One of the things her aunts do often, Sabrina is capable of making portals into other dimensions. She cannot travel into the past or the future, nor into other timelines of this Earth, really. However, she can travel to Faerie, or the Underworld, or dimensions where monkeys rule, or birds evolved instead of people, or all kinds of things. She can take other people with her through the portals, as well. Sometimes things go wrong and things come through, though.

Misc Magic:
She can do a lot of other stuff not mentioned in her other schools of magic. She can create illusions, or block people from seeing certain things. She can make herself or somebody else come off as more persuasive, or make people hear certain things (Such as making somebody hear 'cool teen' instead of 'witch', and 'hamburgers' instead of 'witch') She can speak with ghosts and animate inanimate objects to clean a room or paint a house for her, etc.

Protection:
Through ritualized wards she can protect buildings or portals from entry or damage. She can ward a house so that normal people do not see it, or a window so that a vampire cannot enter, etc. In addition, if she is in desperate need she can cry out an incantation and shield herself and others from attacks, though blows take a lot out of her.

Senses:

She can sense the use of magic or other reality altering abilities around her. She has strong senses, and can feel the use of magic within about a mile. She can pinpoint it better and better the closer she gets to the source. She can also cast spells to alter her senses in various ways, such as increasing her or anothers touch, taste, hearing or whatever. She can shift her senses through electromagnetic, to heat sense, to reading emotions in auras or sensing surface thoughts with the right spell.

Languages:
Languages really are not her forte. She's more likely to cast a spell to translate. However, when magic is not available, she turns to skill. She knows bits and pieces of several languages due to her studies. She can ask for directions, or give a compliment, but she has a hard time holding ongoing conversations in them. Still, she knows enough to do the basics!

Latin, French, German, Aramaic, Arabic, Japanese, Spanish, Old Gaelic.

In addition, a smattering of other dead languages used in magic.

Occult Lore:
She is no expert, but she has been taught well. She understands the basic ideas of magic and its various schools, along with the basics about the other magical traditions out there. She knows a bit about the various dimensions out there, or of how certain supernatural creatures work. She has a lot to learn, though. She's only a kid.

Riding:

She can't operate a normal car, and would likely get into an accident quickly. However, she is DAMN good broomstick rider. She can keep up with speeding cars with ease, and when she really pushes herself, she can almost break the sound barrier. She can duck and weave through obstacles, do hairpin turns, fly upside down and do all kinds of crazy things! If there was some kind of weird sport based around broomstick riding, she'd be a champ!

Aunts:
She lives with her loving aunts, who took her in after the death of her parents. They give her a small allowance and look after her, providing food and shelter in a rough world. They are also very competent, but not master witches.

Bag of Holding:
She has a cute little messenger back she tends to use as a mixture of a backpack and a purse. It is also a very nice magical item she bought at the witchy version of a teen fashion store up in Greendale, where she lives. It is a pocket to a minor dimension, used for storing things. A pocket dimension. She can fit anything into the bag that can fit into the opening of the bag. When she reaches in the bag locks onto her thoughts, and produces the object she wants. This is how she tends to store her broom, for instance, along with a small, folding potions table, her wants, and a variety of everyday magical goods. (Also, her text books.)

Broom:
She earned her Broom License when she turned 16, and she is an EXCELLENT rider. Her broom isn't one of the fanciest out there, but her aunts and her live a middle-class witchy life. There are more designer brands out there, but hers still does the trick.

Salem:
Salem Saberhagen is a Tuxedo cat. He is often nearby, and he provides a good bit of comfort for her through the good times and the bad. He is also a former witch who was sentenced to hundreds of years in cat-form as a punishment for multiple attempts to take over the world. Salem is a cat who talks, and others understand him when he does so.

He has EXTENSIVE occult knowledge, and serves as an excellent tutor and familiar. Often, his suggestions are rather extreme, but when he tones it back they are extremely helpful. Plus, he is adorable.

Witch Society:

While she is not incredibly important in the overarching and widespread Witch and Warlock community, she can still fall back on it. It is a subcommunity within the supernatural world, practicing a more classical offshoot of magical studies, and they live hidden among normal society, in secret.

Bad Magic:
Sometimes she messes up! Heck, she's still kind of new to all this, even though she is a natural. Spells backfire, monsters get summoned, people get turned into dogs...whatever. Shenanigans occur all the time thanks to mistakes in mixing potions or using magic. The demon blood inside her can cause various strange unexpected things to happen when she tries to do good spells

Half-Breed:
Sabrina, for the longest time living with her aunts, was told she was a half human half witch. But it was during her coming-of-age ceremony when her powers fully awakened at the age of 18, and she chose light or darkness. She found out. She's not half-human.. She's a half-demon! Her father was A General of Hell, One of the Princes of darkness trying to get the throne. Several less savory types want to use that to their advantage or even get revenge on her for her father's or even her mother's wrong doings!

Killing:

Sabrina Can't kill , If she kills somebody or if she uses her magic that causes somebody's death she will fall to her demonic side of herself and that scares the heck out of her. She will Constantly give chances and try not to overly harm people just in case due to her fear of falling to her demonic side.
