Alpha Flight

Description

After having developed the Groundhog excavation and exploration suit, which was later refined into the Guardian Battle-Suit, and drawing inspiration from the Fantastic Four, James MacDonald Hudson petitioned the Canadian government to create and fund a team of Canadian superheroes. Operating under the auspices of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service's Department H, the Flight is comprised of three divisions: Alpha Flight, the active response unit, Beta Flight, the intermediate training unit, and Gamma Flight, the initial training unit.
