Profile

Tim Drake was the third Robin, having deduced the real identity of both Nightwing, and Batman, he confronted Bruce Wayne and proved that Batman needs a Robin. For several years he fought along side Batman. After his father was killed by Captain Boomerang the third Boy Wonder's demeanor became darker and more brooding, and with the arrival of Damian Wayne it was time to move on. And thus Red Robin was born!

Neither imposing, nor modest, this young man stands about 178 cm tall, and weighs approximately 57 kg. He has a balanced athletic physique, affording him both great power, and flexibility. Although still in high school, he has the confidence and bearing of a college student. His striking blue eyes regard the world around him with a curiosity and understanding that belies his years. There's fire and passion in those eyes.

His black hair is worn slightly long, in a casually tussled way that looks to be natural, but often takes ages to get just right. It's hard to say which one is true with this young man. He might just have a little bit more growing to do, but regardless, he is in excellent condition. At first glance, his muscles appear to be lean and efficient, but there's more power to them than that. It's amazing what you can do with the right diet and training regimen.

As Tim Drake, he wears stylish, but preppy attire. In the winter, he might be seen wearing a sleeveless jumper over a dress shirt and jeans. In the summer, he might wear a blue and white horizontally striped shirt and beige cargo shorts. But whatever the season, his outfits are always coordinated, look great on him, and are usually name brands.

As Red Robin he wears black, red and gold, a black cowl covering his head with a X of utility belts across his chest ending in a stylized bird symbol. Another utility belt encircles his waist giving the vigilante plenty of tools to do his job and stay on mission.

Born June 19th 2007 to Jack and Janet Drake, Tim was raised with a family who had their own company, a software company, as well as money to give Tim an easy childhood, well, to most. While his childhood wasn't a bad one, his parents didn't pay as much attention to him, leaving the boy to turn to the newest and quickly rising thing... The internet.

Tim, from a very young age, was constantly around computers, and took to them like a duck in water, he learned how to navigate multiple operating systems, as well as how to code, hack and pretty much alter anything he could as long as it was computer based. As a teenager, the internet was his 'Gotham' and he was a white hat hacker and did what he could for the good of the people.

Another thing Tim had was a very analytical mind, and a genius level intellect. He proved this when he figured out that Batman and Bruce Wayne were the same person. How he figured out the identity of the dynamic duo was pretty surreal. He saw the final performance of the Flying Graysons, saying that night was one of the great tragedies of the world. It was years later when he saw Robin do the same moves that a younger Dick Grayson was able to do, and this lead him to dig deeper, and eventually, he was able to make said deduction.

Batman and Robin were his idols as a child, to the point that he usually dressed as The Batman as a child for Halloween. Though as he continued to watch the exploits of the dynamic duo, he continued to rightly deduce that the first Robin became Nightwing, and that the second Robin vanished, which caused much more aggressive actions out of Batman, who was already pretty darn aggressive.

So after getting the go ahead from Dick to try and approach Bruce about wanting to become the next Robin, he did so, and much to his shock, wasn't told no, he was just put through the hardest testing and training one could imagine. Though, while training, he was not allowed to fight crime, not until Alfred gave him the old Robin costume to help Batman, which further proved his worth to the Dark Knight. Thus he was allowed to go on patrol with Batman, even though his training took precedence.

He spent the school years training after class, and his summers he was sent abroad, Bruce telling his parents that it was for 'his education'. This lead him to be trained by some of the greatest martial artists and combatants in the world, most notably, Lady Shiva, who gifted him with his signature collapsible bo staff. Though she was upset that he wouldn't kill, still, his skill was impressive.

Returning to Gotham, Tim took his role as Robin with a tenacious purpose, he and Batman were able to use their collective skillset to fight crime as only the Dynamic duo can. During this time Tim also joined the Titans and used the skills he learned from that team on how to fight villains who were a lot higher than just 'street level'.

Eventually, the appearance of Damian Wayne brought Tim to the choice to give up the Robin mantle, and he took up the Red Robin mantle, still working closely with Batman, but as much more than a sidekick. Working with the rest of the Batman Family, he was a wonderful recon and infiltrator specialist, both physically, as well as on the internet. During this time though, Captain Boomerang killed his father, who has until this point figured out that Tim was Robin/Red Robin, and tried everything he could to stop his son from leading a reckless life. With the death of both his parents now, his mother's death happening a while ago, he became a ward of the Wayne estate, even though he is an adult, still, the gesture meant a lot.

Tim left to finish his training after the loss of his parents, and toured the world, in this capacity, he was able to stop Russian smugglers and hackers, as well as completely foil a plan by the League of Assassins, this deed in itself had proven to himself that he not only was the hero he always wanted to be, but opened his eyes to just how good at it he was, when Ra's al Ghul referred to him as 'Detective..

Personality

Red Robin is not an old man by any stretch of the imagination, but he has already gone through a series of changes in his young life. He was always driven. Even as a child, he was serious. That comes, part and parcel, with his incredible intellect, and that seriousness has only intensified with age and experience. But, unlike his mentor, he's always been able to make friends. Batman has associates, while Red Robin has friends. There is difference.

And it all comes down to his wit. Red Robin has a sense of humour. He quips. He uses turn of phrases. He can yap with the best of them. As a superhero, a mouth can be as effective as any other weapon. It can unnerve and distract your opponents. As a civilian, it can set people at ease and help to integrate one's self within a group. And he's a geek. He likes science fiction, role-playing games. He is a nerd. But that too can help with his creativity.

Red Robin is a detective, perhaps even better than Batman. The jury's still out on that. But he is keenly observant and very good at deductive reasoning. He lacks the experience of his mentor, but that will come in time. He was able to learn Batman's true identity using nothing but thoughtful contemplation and a bit of determination.

Red Robin is unusually introspective. He knows his strengths and his weaknesses. He's able to admit when he's wrong. He will accept it, deal with it, and move on. He's working on some things, others, he may never get better at. And he's fine with that. He just wants to be the best Red Robin that he can be. He doesn't have to worry about the ones who came before, or who might come after. He can only be himself.

He is cautious and careful. He will protect his identity, no matter the cost, because in protecting his identity, he is protecting those he cares about. When faced with a challenge such as a gang of bullies at school, there's not much he can do so long as there are witnesses to worry about. He's taken his lumps. But when that changes, when he can defend himself without worrying about risking his identity, he will do so. It's all about the situation. There is a time for restraint, and a time to let loose. Even when he does let go, it is always under highly controlled terms. That's just his way.

ACADEMICS
Tim is no slouch when it comes to the more scholarly studies. To the point that he is entering his second year at Gotham U, and is already on a path to graduate in may with a four year degree. Science, history, advanced math, literature, and even theological studies are all par for the course for Tim.

COMBAT
Tae Kwan Do, Savate, Krav Maga, Judo, Ninjitsu, Shaolin Kungfu, Multiple styles of staff fighting and a skill with thrown weapons. Tim until recently didn't know how good we was at combat, easily within the top 25 skilled martial artists in the world.

COMPUTERS
A genius hacker on the level of someone who could break into high security systems and pull out what they need, Tim is none the less a White hat hacker, refusing to do anything that would be considered 'black hat'. His personal computer has a program written by himself using a modified version of his father's Drake OS, with a lot of dummy code written into it for someone to sift through just to figure out what he is doing, as well as his fail safes and back door programs to get into some of the most state of the art facilities in Gotham.

DETECTIVE
Tim is a genius when it comes to detective work, having been learning and fine tuning his investigative ability since he was a young child. Not only was he able to figure out batman and Nightwing's identity, but he has, from his computer, been able to feed enough information to GCPD to help them solve a lot of problems. This includes his skill at intimidation as well as interrogation. This has lead him to be known in certain circles as just as good as Batman when it comes to investigation. This also helps in tracking people down, electronically, or on foot.

DRIVING
Tim is a skilled driver, on par with a stunt driver and has been taught to drive almost any land vehicle, including a motorcycle, and can pilot aircraft, from a simple crop duster, to a commercial airplane, and anything in between.

FIRST AID
Being a normal Human, and having partners who are normal humans does require a bit of knowledge on how to get them patched up. Tim knows first aid at an EMT level and has had to patch people up in the middle of combat, including pulling bullets out of bodies.

HARDWARE
Half of the gear Tim uses he creates himself. He also tends to always be looking for ways to upgrade his suit and kit, to the point that he has even began to help other members of the batman family upgrade their kit as well. He is very apt at this type of work, maybe one day he can get a crack at a piece of Ironman's equipment and reverse engineer it, until then, he will work with what he has.

LINGUIST
Tim is Fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Russian, German, Italian, American Sign Language and French.

MENTAL PROWESS
Tim has a high Intellect, reflected in his school grades of him graduating top of his class at his high school, and a full scholarship to Gotham U. Also, this is reflected in the ease at which he learns and processes things. This has been further developed with training to make his mind a steel trap. Both with an Eidetic memory that forgets nothing, and the ability to greatly focus and resist psionic attacks for a time.

PHYSICAL PROWESS
Tim's body has been honed to be almost perfect. While he lacks the absolute nimbleness of Nightwing, or the raw brute force of Batman, he is somewhere in the middle. His shining achievement though is his stamina, which he has conditioned into being able to do things for far longer than other people.

SUBTERFUGE
Stealth, the art of surprise, voice throwing, disguise, escaping, and breaking and entering and bypassing security. Tim has to be able to get where he is going, and in that case, learning to be a quiet birdie has given him more options to fight crime. He is one of the best at this sort of thing, being the go to Batclan member for anything regarding recon and infiltration.

TACTICS
Chess, risk, and even computer games like command and conquer and starcraft have gifted Tim with a working knowledge of tactics and strategy, top that with many books on the subject that he has read. This was further enhanced by his time as leader of the titans, and the constant mental training from Bruce.

VIDEO GAMES

Some people will say that Gaming isn't a skill, though, they change their mind when they see what Tim can actually do. Multiple speed run records, a few online fighting game records, and quite a few popular MMOs he plays have him in the top end game guilds.

BATCAVE
Tim has access to the batcave and all the vehicles, labs, and weapons therein.

BIRD'S NEST
It's not really used as a secret base, just a catche of gear and a few hidden servers for information retrieval. Located at the tallest point in gotham, though, not the watchtower, Tim keeps a good eye on the city, that and his scanning systems can easily get a better view of the city from there.

EXCEL
This is the name Tim uses when he is working with the Outsiders. His suit still has the same functionality as the Red Robin Suit, but he has colored the Excel Suit all black, and wears a full length trench coat instead of a cape.

HACKERNET
They aren't 'real' at least, there is no way to find them unless you know what you are doing, and it works much like anonymous, a simple message and an IP to hit, and watch the chaos ensue, granted, it's for the good of the people. Tim has of course, taken part is many such hacktivist activities, against Criminal Hackers, institutions that are shady at best, and even against known spyware based attacks.

MODIFIED DRAKE OS
This system is designed to bypass security, assess the deep web without detection, and uses his phone as a drawing point to mark and catalog hotspots and other points of interest. The main bulk of the code is kept on Tim's Unix Server, with a normal PC as a Decoy. With this personally modified code there are only a handful of places Tim can't access, and he has yet to see anyone who can breach his own system. The machines that are integrated to this OS are: Server, Wayne Tech android phone, Android Tablet, Google glass headset and the Bat Computer.

OUTSIDERS
A group Tim has started with an underground base on the outskirts of Manhattan. This Base comes complete with a full laboratory, Training area, top of the line computer, Barracks, and a place for vehicles. Tim can call on the skills and aid of his fellow Outsiders when he needs them.

RED CYCLE
Tim new motorcycle that houses a high performance engine as well as a lot of compartments for gadgets and other gizmos that Tim can use while on patrol.

STAFF
Red Robin's weapon of choice is a collapsible Bo Staff, extending from a 4-inch cylinder to a 5-foot staff. The staff is made from a titanium alloy and is capable of supporting 300 lbs. Robin can also use the staff as a pole vault to add to his jumping range. It has holes drilled n either end to create a disorienting whistle sound. One end has a retractable blade used as a utility item. (Will not use the blade in combat.)

SUIT

• Cowl: Fire Resistant double stitched Synthetic Kevlar in the computer chips and memory storage that connects to the cowl's lenses sewn in between the stitching. Includes polarizing lenses to protect from flash attacks and infra-red, Night Vision, and Ultraviolet lenses. The lenses also have a 'HeadsUp Display' system for displaying various information relayed by the computer and communications systems. An earbud and a microphone in the high collar are tied into a high-frequency radio system capable of accessing commercial, police, marine, military, and private radio channels like the ones used by the Bat-Clan and the Titans. A voice modulator is used to mask his voice.
• Cape: Fire Resistant double stitched memory cloth that will fan out into a wing like pattern when a electrical current is introduced to it. Both corners of the Cape have a three pound weight built into them for a blunt attack and has small rigid plate inserts spaced out to provide protection and flexibility.
• Armor: Chest, Gauntlets, Boots and Leggings are triple weave fire, bullet and puncture resistant Kevlar. Additional plates in the non moving parts of the armor for more defense as well as impact padding has been added to the knuckles, elbow, knee, and other striking areas to increase the effect of blows. A Mandarin-style collar conceals a steel gorget, protecting Red Robin's throat from choke holds and garrotes.
• Left Gauntlet: Robin's left gauntlet has a portable computer system with a flip-up screen and touch-pad keyboard. It is capable of wireless connections to wireless networks and servers. There is also an extendable cable for direct wired connection to computers. The wrist computer system stores common hacking and anti-electronic security programs, as well as custom programs to hack in and control camera systems. Using the wireless connection, Red Robin can have remote access to his usual computer systems (Batcomputer, Titan's Tower systems), to send and receive data. There are also remote controls for the Red Cycle and other vehicles that Robin has common access to, like the Batmobile and the Batwing. Under the wrist is a Grapple line, able to withstand one ton of pressure. Metal Plates in the fingers can be charged for a taser like attack.
• Right Gauntlet: The top is a holding compartment for Robin's Collapsible staff, Lockpick multi-tool and Synthetic Silk breather mask. Below the wrist is a smoke, flash, Thermite, tear gas, and sleep pellet deployment system with 24 pellets each. Metal Plates in the fingers can be charged for a taser like attack.
• Boots: Steel toe boots with plates in the soles to cushion landings. The bottom of the boots are ribbed for better traction and aiding in silent movements.

Notes: The whole suit is lead lined with a lead based liquid inside the stitching. The computerized parts of the suit can go 36 hours without needing a charge. The colors of the suit were darkened for better stealth, with the green parts done away, and a darker red and black scheme set into it.

TRUST FUND
Tim has quite the Trust fund in his name from the untimely death of his parents. This includes enough money to make sure that he can easily get through college, as well as a locked business account to his father's former company (80 percent share.) which is currently run by a CFO rendering Tim not needing to worry about that business.

UTILITY BELT
An eight pouch ultility belt that is rigged to give off an electrical shock if not opened correctly, Only Tim and Bruce currently know the correct way to open it.

• Pouch 8 - Holds Eight Bolas that can give a taser like electrical Charge.

Extras: Unless stated, Robin doesn't usually carry this stuff, though, they are at the Batcave if needed: Lead-based smoke pellets, Kryptonite Ring, Mini Forensics Kit, Concussive Grenades, Sticky Bombs, Electric Robin-Rangs, Suit Repair Kit, Demolitions kit, Thermal Kit.

Tim will have two thousand dollars in cash on him, just in case there should ever be a need for it while out as Red Robin.

Weaknesses

BATTLE CRUTCH
While physically in a very good shape, he still doesn't have the raw strength that Bruce or Dick has, which leads him to use his staff to even the playing field. Should he be unable to use said weapon against the stronger villains, he might be in for a rough time.

NORMAL HUMAN
Tim is a Normal Human, and who's to say he wont go up against a metahuman criminal. This would put him physically at a disadvantage, mentally he should be fine.

SECRET IDENTITY
Tim is Red Robin, and if the criminal factor found that out, it could spell a lot of trouble for the young Hero. Not to mention his family and friends.

STUBBORN
Tim is extremely stubborn, and while it gives him a no quit attitude, sometimes he just doesn't know when to quit or let go, leading him to over work himself, miss out on sleep, and generally focus on one thing with a slight bit of tunnel vision. That doesn't mean he can't multi task, but if something bothers him enough, good luck trying to get him to unwind.

TRACED

Oh it can happen, and certain people could find out that the Heir to the Drake Fortune has been causing a bit of ruckus on the web, while the average criminal wouldn't know where to begin, someone like Oracle, or Calculator, probably could.

Waterfront Rescue	August 31st, 2017	The heroes arrive at the port, encountering henchment guarding a warehouse. On the approach, they are challenged by Mammoth and Shimmer, who duel with Wonder Girl and then withdraw, while others sneak into the warehouse, just as Damian effects his own escape. Inside, they discover Doctor Light seemingly in charge, though he bickers with Ravager. The team engages, with Colette and Kaelyn destroying some of the power-dampening machinery within while battling Light as he draws power from Cassie's lasso, lashing out with powerful attacks. Cassie meets Ravager's sword to give Damian an opening, and then Light seemingly destroys him with much of the rest of the building before being subdued. Saving a falling Wonder Girl and taking Light into custody, the group escapes, with Ravager seemingly the only casualty of the incident.
